I just picked up a 2014 Kandi 150GKA. It had been sitting for several years and was not running. After cleaning it up I am able to get it started using starter fluid. I have cleaned the carb and the fuel tank but this thing is smoking really bad when I start it and it does not clear up. White smoke. I am thinking I need seals and maybe rings. Is the 150GKA the same as the 150GKA-2 ?

Thanks for any help

Can't say if they are the same. Some google research should give you results. It does sound like your rings are shot or you are leaking oil into the cylinder through the valve seals. It would be best just to replace the whole shbang with an upgrade kit with a head, piston, rings, and gaskets. Just be sure the kit you buy will fit without case boring.
