Man Jeremy, from what Ive heard there were very few of the 16ooSV's imported stateside...
Looks to be aluminum ? You may have to have this one welded back or build a new one...
Wish could be more help to you.

Thanks but I am a contractor, this job allows me to indulge in hobbies, haha. I thought the same thing but thought I would try anyway. After doing research of my own, everything Rusty Nutz said about FORD/VW parts seems to be true. Now if I can just find who makes the mount!

Cool, one of my sons was deployed to Afghaniastan & still has active duty friends there...

you sound very resourcefull, and have obviously done your 'homewwork' :)
Quote:
transmission bracket(not the mount) was broken. It contains some type of shift rod/linkage that I'm not sure what it is

Im kinda thinking (w/out seeing much) that if this (alum ??) mt/bracket's already cracked, it needs replaced with "Better quality" bracket anyways...

Is/was there hard shifting issues / problematic trans / maybe clutching issues / bad bearings / etc...
that potentially could have contributed to this broken mount ??

I've looked around and I can't quite find this. I'm hunting for an alternative oil filter for the 1100cc Chery in my XY Power GP1100 2014 model. I found this info - Troopers with Thread Size 20X1.5 MM can use:
WIX 51347, 51334 --- Napa 1347, 1334, PS1334 --- Fram PH6010A, PH3593A
Troopers with Thread Size 3/4X16 " can use:
Fram PH4967, Napa 1394 & Wix 5194 (slightly longer than original, Wix 51396 (even longer yet).

but I don't know which one, anyone know?

Has any one recently tried the 1997 Jetta transmission in the 1600cc Joyner? I have one and recently crunched my tranny when shifting into second on pavement....big no no with 31" tires out back...lol

From what I have read, the internals are the same but the case is different.

Well it's out ...it has a small crack in it right behind the diff portion inside the clutch housing. No leaks but not sure how it looks inside the case...still haven't got it apart yet.

I picked up jetta transmission today it's a DFQ MODEL but it's a five speed so not sure what to do next. I wonder if I can just make mine a 5 speed and upgrade it from the 4 speed joyner transmission...? Any suggestions or experience that any one can add will greatly help....

Thanks,
Mike

I have a 2007 Dazon Enduro 1100 that appears to have a slipping clutch. Is the general consensus that this is a VW clutch? If so what year and model should I be shopping for?

I'm getting pretty confused with cross referencing parts. I ended up finding parts on Aliexpress from making motors. Emailed them about what engine and buggy I had and they say that the da,on 1100 is a 465 and matches parts from a Goka buggy. Someone had mentioned that the dazon is the same as the Joyner buggies

I would like to find parts here in the states that will work but some of the vehicles that were listed in the beginning don't seem to match up. At the beginning someone says that parts from ford escort and the vw will work but when I go into the oriley auto page and look up the year of vehicles listed don't see the engine size specified in the post that the parts will work from. Or try referencing Suzuki parts. Am I missing a step?

The parts from klung motor seem to be priced fairly but the shipping is costly. Spend almost in shipping what all the clutch parts cost.

I appreciate the work you guys have done to narrow things down so far that's a huge step from where I was when I bought it. Has anyone been able to definitively say what parts will work for starter, ign coil, brakes, clutch?
