Hello all

I have a buggy of unknown origin, I have tried to find out what it is but with no luck.

Anyway, I a man fitting a 400cc sports bike engine to the buggy and have a few questions:

1, when fabricating the engine mounts, is there a way of creating something to adjust the chain in the future? The original engine was a lawnmower engine I think.

Do you mean tightening the chain? Send pics of your buggy.

Three ideas to adjust chain:
1. Engine mounts pivots toward and away from axle (like GY6 150)
2. Axle bearing carriers slide in a mount toward and away from engine (like a motorcycle rear wheel)
3. Idler sprocket on return side of chain (like the idler pulleys you see on automotive accessory belts)
