I don't really know much about the lights on my hammerhead 250ss, but I am looking for an upgrade for them. Like 2 or 3 of the lights have gone out and it would be nice to have better lighting. Currently, I don't plan to drive it on the street so blinding isn't really an issue. But if it works out to have good lighting without blinding people that would be nice. Just looking for an upgrade. It's a 2007 hammerhead 250ss btw. Thought I might clarify I am looking for bulbs to go in the headlights.

Look up BA20D led bulbs with high and low beams on eBay. These will fit the stock housings. But you will have to drill the base of the led bulb and pop rivet it. It keeps the bulb from twisting and losing contact internally from off roading. Choose bulbs with cooling fins or fans. The smaller bulbs are 194. I think it's in my hammerhead thread.

Personally, I'd ditch the stock headlights and got with the LEDs that most of us have. Well worth the work it takes to adjust the bracket to make them fit, IMO.

I agree with Sockman, and they’re cheap on eBay

I did use the LEDs and used the wiring to not break a circuit. With a new switch and some luck my switch still lights the tail light and the LEDs. The bake light also operates. I made new mounts for the LEDs and left the original lights. Like I said it was luck and it kept the grounds where they were supposed to be.
