Funnyman and I have been planning a ride at the Hatfield McCoy Trail!
This trail system is AWSOME!!! Every town is atv, sxs,Buggy friendly! Which means you can ride your machines in towns to get gas, food, lodging!
All total there is about 700 miles of every kind of trail riding you can imagine!!! Also there is other things to do... like rafting, kyaking,or just looking at our nations history!
We are planning this ride for next year. I am thinking the Devil Anse trail that connects to 2 other trails,Buffalo Mountain, and Rockhouse.
Now what we want from all of you is.... when????? May,June, July? This will not be weekend ride unless you just happen to live close. This will be a great family vacation destination!
We have a year to decide, and to plan. So lets make this happen, you won't regret it.... unless you don't come #-o #-o #-o !!!
Here is the link... www.ridehatfieldmccoy.com ,Get excited! Let's ride the best trail system in the country!!!!!!

I vote June.
Has worked well for all the Bashes... better halves kinda expect us to make a run for it.

May... would be cooler... but weather could be cold, rainy and kids getting out of school.

July... usually busy time for families and vacations.

I will put it on the calendar... count me in!

If you're interested in riding Pocahontas/Indian Ridge/Pinnacle Creek I know a guy that just recently bought a house in Bluefield. Enough beds for 10-12 people and about 2 acres suitable for camping.

I'm going down there in about two weeks or so. Check out ashland resort it's a nice place has cabins, tent camping, RV
And the trail head is right on the property. Rates aren't to bad.
I'll be down to go ride with all of you, I'm good to go whenever.
Funnyman I got to take the buggy out for a real good ride last weekend. Was about 10 hours of mud and hills.. Worked great and everyone loved the buggy even though they all had rzr's only thing was , was on the longer hills it would start to bog down.
Ya think it might need a bigger fuel pump or bigger jets?

When I say "guy" I mean woman and when I say "know" I mean married to. If y'all want to have a get together and ride the southern trails I'm offering a free place to stay.

Buffalo Trail cabins and The Mud Pit ATV resort are just down the street. Ashland resort is about 30 minutes by trail.

If you go to up around Devil Anse the only campground I have stayed in up there was Twin Hollows in Gilbert. Nice place but not friendly towards any activity after dark and VERY protective of their grass.

Is it bogging because of lack of fuel or to much fuel? Check your plug when it happens. PM me about this.

At first I was thinking Ashland, but now maybe G-Rays....! Definately need to do the Devil Anse just to see the Hatfield cemetery!
Now since we have a year to plan,we need to get more Yankees to show up!!
My bad #-o ! What I meant to say was more people from west of the Mississippi, and south of the North Pole!!!! Ok pretty much anyone that has posted anything on Buggynews! So start saving your pennies, sell your scrap, give blood,or whatever you need to make this ride!!!!

For some,or most of us this is a bucket list adventure, and who else to share this with than all of your family, and friends from across the country with the same interest..... Buggies, and riding!!!!!

The Rockhouse trailhead in Gilbert is about an hour up the road from our place. It's an all day ride to get from there to Matewan KY and back going by the cemetary. There is no "official" way to get there from Ashland.

We have been to WV riding about 15 times in the last 4 years. Liked it so much we bought a house.
