Hey everyone!

I am new to the buggy world and I just picked up a buggy from a neighbor and I’m not sure what I have here so I’m hoping y’all can help me out! The buggy has a roof that says “ SLGK-800-2 (SLGK-1000)”. It has a 3 cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual with reverse. It has been sitting for a number of years so it needs work! I’m not sure how to go about getting parts for it since I do not know what brand it is. It needs tires for sure (which I am thinking of switching the rims out as well if I knew the lug pattern, they are 4 lug) and was told it needs a clutch. I know it needs a new throttle cable and I want to add a choke cable as well. Oh and it needs a battery. Of course because it was outside for so many years I’m sure it will need more but I’d love to get this thing going again! I was able to pour some gas into the carb and get it started and it sounds real nice but I just was hoping you guys can help me out to find some parts or even where to look for parts as well as what kind of cart it even is!

I look forward to hearing from you all and learning from all of your expertise!

Thank you in advance!!

It is a buggy made in the Goka factory regardless of brand name. The engine is copy of the Suzuki F8b which was not used in the US, but was popular with micro cars and trucks out of Asia.

Thank you so much for reaching out! Okay so for engine parts I should be looking up parts for the Suzuki F8b? Is there a transmission I should be looking to match with it? I have had quite a tough time looking for a replacement clutch for it!

The transmission is a Suzuki F series too. I do not know if the clutch matches G series found in Geo's and Suzuki's in the US, but the transmission is different. There is a current project that mates up a Suzuki G series engine to your transmission, but most people swap both if they recover the buggy.

Try the micro ki truck sites for clutch and transmission parts.

Okay sweet! Is there a website or a company you would recommend for me to find the clutch replacement? That is really the only thing I need for the transmission and engine. The clutch is completely shot. Or do you have a part number for a clutch for my setup?

Thank you again!

I am still having quite a tough time finding a clutch kit for this cart! I can find every other part for it but I cannot find a part number or anything for the clutch replacement. Anyone have any thoughts? I’m in the US and everything I found through the other forum posts on that other site show for things in the UK or Australia. Would a Joyner 800cc have the same clutch? Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Clutch PLate/Disc 22400M79F40 I think also crosses to the Suzuki SJ410, so this might be a choice: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255067036268

Release Bearing 09269-28006, 09269-28007, 23265-65G00 or a Koyo RCTS28SA

Only old 800 SOHC Joyner's uo to 2006 or 650's up to 2009 would cross for clutch parts.

Okay awesome! When I typed in the clutch number you gave me it came up with this at autozone so I wonder if it’s the same. If not I’ll have to buy that eBay linked one! Also I can pick any of those bearing numbers and they will work? I was hoping I can find a kit with everything together but I guess that isn’t happening lol.

Thank you again so much!
