I went back and checked my e-mail. It was from East Coast Cycles out of Florida and they stated it was 2" shy of 5 feet wide.

I had a concern about the width as well, so I asked a dealer in Californa the same thing. They indicated it was 59". I wasn't going to buy one if it didn't fit on my trailer. I can only talk my wife into so many things. Getting a new buggy and a trailer is out of the question.

I'm jealous because that GTR250 looks sooooooooooo sweet. I'm going to be patient, though, and wait until you guys have received yours and put them through the test. I don't have a dealer close, but I may check out that place in St. Louis. That wouldn't be a terrible drive, probably 5 hours. Good lu...

I bought my Carter Talon from an online dealer and it was drop shipped to my residence, so no local dealer. With that in mind, I haven't had any problems with it - no warranty work that needed to be done. There are several sources for performance parts. Also, Carter's parts department has been excel...

That's actually my left hand (picture taken in a mirror). Where do you find those wrist straps? I think that'll be my next mod.

I can't tell what I cut it on. It must have been a bolt. The wrist and forearm injury hurt more. Its nasty looking. I posted this not to brag, but to bring some awareness about safety. I won't soon forget the constant throbbing in my hand/wrist/forearm.

Rolled yesterday and was not wearing my seatbelt. Got 17 stitches on the top of the hand and was lucky to not break my wrist or forearm as the roll cage came down on my wrist. We're were about a half hour deep into the woods at the time, too. Made for a fun ride to the ER. Luckily my EMT buddy was r...

Still not a fan of "buggy", but "trail buggy" does sound better. Good suggestion.

Buggies is the plural of buggy.

No offense to anyone here, but I've never liked the term "buggy." The Webster dictionary definition of a buggy is (1) a light, one-horse carriage with one seat. (2) a small carriage for a baby. Doesn't seem appropriate. I like the term off-road kart, but nothing that I've heard seems to fit perfectl...

I bought mine from Blade and you don't need the bearings. My spring has been installed and works perfectly.

I think the life cycle is all backwards You should start out dead and get it out of the way. Then, you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day. You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension, then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work 40...

Twister101, Did you feel any difference with the CDI installed? I just ordered one from Small Engine Specialists out of AZ. Its is supposed to be a RevMax. I also have the Iridium spark plugs on the way. My setup appears nearly identical to yours, so I really would like your input. I do not have the...

Stu, in case nobody says it, I'd like to say "thank you" for jumping on this. This would be a nice addition to most of our buggies.

All right Stu, now you're talkin'. I would be very interested especially if you can get a good price on them. I think you might get really popular if you included some kind of universal guide to get these installed as well. These are designed for ATVs and motorcycles & we would need to find out ...
