I thought of that as well, but the inspectors can require you to show where the major components came from and of course you can't produce receipts for parts, or for a kit. Just depends on how difficult they want to be. I would use that route as a last resort. If you bought the buggy over the Inter...

You can't, as you know, register/title a "go kart" in NY. You have to get them to agree it is and ATV, even though it says go-kart on the MSO. You will get nowhere w/ the drones at the DMV counter. I had to deal with the liason officer at the state capitol. As you stated the local DOL off...

update: just got this from Karl at Baja Motorsports: Good day, I am sorry but the Dune 150 is a go-kart so we cannot make a title stating ATV. However, I have never heard of this issue before. I suggest you go to a different DMV office. Karl [email protected].net Baja Motorsports, LLC Phone 8...

Travis may be able to piece it out for you so you do not need the entire assembly. If he cannot help you, PM me for another source.

Ok...probably showing my ignorance here...but why wouldnt it steer without a differential? Thanks. Both tracks would push the buggy forward at equal speeds but have so much grip that there would be no possibility that the front end would steer you in any direction but directly forward or reverse. T...

I have to agree that tracks on the front do not make sense unless they are driven. I have thought of using skis up front and paddles on the rear of my Yerf. The other issue is if this is a solid axle buggy with out a differential, it will be next to impossible to turn.

You're on your way to better matched gearing. I suggest 10g rollers or 12g sliders to get your gearing to spool up. Once you have these in place, see if you hit the right balance of speed and power. One of my Yerfs runs a Tomberlin reverse so I have a 16t final drive sprocket. Although it's great on...

I like the cummins dodge... HUGE power potential, great motor, but Dodge has NEVER put together a decent transmission like Allison in the Chevy's or GMC's... If they made that combo, no truck company would compete!!! lol... My buddy had a 12 second 1/4 mile duramax, and he showed me video's on yout...

I used to 4-wheel on Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville. There were plenty of trails and obstacles (just stay away from the munitions range). This was over 15 years ago, so I don't know what the place looks like now or if they limit access... When you're done, you can cleanup and go for nice meal or round of...

yep thats what I would do also. I would not change the internal gearing, just go with a heavier roller. I have some 13 gram sliders that would help get back some speed and you could also go with a 32 tooth sprocket from a 05 talon gx150iir Upgrading to 22" tall tires would also increase gearin...

If you take your rollers to the self service scale at the post office, you can get the ounce measurement and convert to grams. I suggest you weigh all of them together and divide the total by the number of rollers being weighed.

If you lost low beam on both lights most likely the switch or the line to the low beams is at fault. If it's just one light, it is wiring or the bulb.

The battery life span will be shorter if charging is above 2A (24w). Although I do not know the exact charging wattage, I do know it is in this range. Most GY6 buggies are using dual 35w lamps for stock illumination - I am surprised yours would be such a low wattage. Also if the wattage was that low...

The stock 6-pole stator supplies about 70w AC dirrectly off its winding to power the Yerf-Dog lights. If you run the lights off the battery, the charging circuit will not keep up with the draw. Buggy Depot sells an 8-pole stator putting out over 100w, but I am holding out for an 11-pole version that...

I don't have a picture, but can tell you it is sealed on one side of the side of the carb. A little pick will remove the seal (but you will not be able to put it back). The air/fuel adjustment helps the lower throttle application and idle but does nothing for wide open throttle application. Some peo...

Can't tell about the spring as they look they all look the same. You may be able tell the difference in the spring's compression fo...
