I was going to buy that kit, but I talked to a machineist and he said that I would have to split the engine case to have it milled. I would have loved to have the kit but too much work for me to do. I had the head milled down .035 instead.

Alright, my head is done! :D
But I won't have a new gasket for it til Friday.
My head has a metal gasket, but there is no base gasket. Is there supposed to be? I thought there was supposed to be a paper gasket on base and metel on head. Can I get a gasket from a local atv dealer?
Part #??

I took the plunge. I took my engine apart today. I am having a machine shop mill down .035". I can't wait to try it out. I do have some carbon build op on the piston and sparkplug. What would cause that? I am getting a racing clutch, 12gm rollers, alloy intake, and a 130mm CV carb. I am hoping to ha...

Thats what I am talking about!! I put mine up against a tree and it just boggs. If I could get mine to spin tires like that, (even on dirt) I would be happy and wouldn't have the need to buy something more powerful. How much it cost to get a ported and polished big valve head and high compression.

There was a big differance when I completed the mods. It does run great. I am just looking to explore some trails with my 4 year old, but the 2 that I want to go on start with a short but steep hill going down. I would hate to go down and get stuck at the bottom. I just need that little bit extra. I...
