So... I got to take a few snapshots before we left. The trails were overgrown all over the park, as there have been no buggies of ATV's in the last two months... The owner is a very prominent paintball celebrity, and so he has been traveling most of the summer to date...SO
We cleared 90% of the trails on the property, and 100% of the trails that mean a lot to us... We have a tentative course set for a long rally....and with a little elbow grease friday or saturday the 10th or 11th, we should be in super shape for a real rally course race!
There were about 5-6 large trees that needed to be removed off the trails, a few small ones... a couple stones and stuff, lots of tree tape and a little spray paint to mark the trails and such... But we got most of the work done.... All in All, a pretty productive trip...
Of the day, we did end up with a few snags that will cost us this week and next tho! My cousin has the TRX buggy, and the shifter cable binded causing the cable to snap at the shifter... gotta fix that soon...lol... I burn my belt pretty darn good, definatley need a new one of those.... and TH had his yerf shoot out the rear output shaft seal in the tranny, causing it to loose gear oil, then drop the chain... SO, we got the trails prepped, took a breif ride around the area, and hopefully we will be good to go in 3 weeks and counting!
The pics are of: the pavillion where we can barbaque, meet for event organizing, relax, do whatever!... there are a couple pics of the bunk houses offered to sleep in, as well as a pic of the campgrounds if you wanna bring a tent... And the blue building is the registration/guest services/front desk-all of that... There is a pond you can swim in...COLD water is readily available, showers are about 10-15 minutes down 81 at exit 219- a huge truck rest stop for 11 bux with towels if you are in need of a hot one...
Here are teh pics, and check teh forum, there will be a thread up shortly abot some ground rules....
