hey kansas gang, as you know, I'm the OLD guy around here and it is starting to concern me some. I know I've got a few more good years, but I'm thinking long term, these things are just too much fun!. Well, I think I have found an answer, with a roll bar and seat belt, should be good to go for some time yet!,lol. I,m sure you have all watched the videos of the gixer kart, well, this could be the next GEEZER kart!

yeah, I'm itchin' to go again, specially when we had that warm weather. alas, I haven't gotten anything done to the crossfire, not that would hold me up, but it needs a little tlc to recover from my abuse. Donnie is still hurtin' but slowly getting better. Easy Johnny.... We have to give them time to heal! I mean really the way you drive,and the places you go..... 2 months is not enough time to heal !
I have not tore it down yet, as I had other issues to deal with.After some one tried to steal it, I stripped it, and locked it up! Its sitting in my backyard under cover,without tires,wanting for the weather to change for the warmer. Which is a downer...since it has snowed like 5 inches since then. This little system today left me with about 1.5 in.
The most I have done since we rode last was adjust the intake valve.....It wasn't closeing,AT ALL! So I checked it and adjusted said valve,and now it starts right up. The downside is the battery is trashed! Or at least that is my prognosis. Just starting my buggy took the battery down a 1/4... I let it run 30-45 mins. took the battery out put it on the charger,and it took 24 hrs on a trickle charge to recharge it back up to full.
I may still do it before the Bash...depends on the funds and how it is running between now and then.

I'm in the same boat mike, I still need to get fenders rebuilt, and probably a tuneup. still procrastinating cause of the cold. I been working alot of screwy hours, and trying to get something going with the Buggy-bash,that I let our little thread go unoticed .
I just wanted to let you all know that while I was doing all of this, I did manage to record some things off the Outdoor network. and one of them was Fishers ATV world,and he did a segment on Tuttle creek! It started with the Country stampede or something like that in Manhattan,then him and his sons went to the ORV area and rode there 4 wheelers.
He was impressed with most of the trails,however he thought they should be marked better, i.e. extreme,intermediate,and easy. I guess his youngest son was riding a 90 and had alittle trouble going down one of the hills But all in all he did give it a good review. Just thought you all might like to know that! We is famous!!!! Ok our riding spot is!
