hey i just stumbled upon this forum and thought you might be interested in my buggy. it has a 2006 predator 500 motor and trans in it. i have a big gun exhaust, jetted carb, k&n air intake and other mods here and there. it rips it up pretty good in the dunes and has a top speed of about 65mph with the standard 14 tooth front sprocket in 5th. i just ordered a 12 tooth sprocket from sprocket specialists to get more low end for big climbs.
I`m back with a small update. Its now a rolling frame all suspenion is hooked up and working GREAT. To be honest I was wondering wether or not i wud work. IT DID COOL!!! suspenion feels like it did when it was a 4wheeler. now thats the hard part all other work will be quick and easy in comparison.
hi been a while sinse my last post. finally got steering hooked up, was difficult with very little room to work. and decided to mount gas tank up front to add a little wieght up front, and take some off the rear.
also got radiator mounted, moddified the original muffler to fit inside the frame, and moddified the air box also to fit. am looking forward to finishing, not much left. am going to put floor pan in, and finish the frame. let me know what u think!
