I am confused. It looks like you are posting 2 very different versions of the Joyner 1100 exhaust. Did one of you buy an upgrade from the factory?

Ditto! Did your 1100 come with that 4 into 1 header?

10/4, it came directly from Thunderinc with the exhaust pictured, no upgrade.

I think that better exhuast came on the first couple which they tested. I went the buggy shop here is town and all of the new ones had the better exhuast. It sucks that Joyner would put such a peice of junk on these car and sell them like they are as good as the others. Joyner will fix issue pretty quickly it seems but if they already have your money they won't give much help. They want $180 for the cat and couldn't even come up with a price for the header but they are in stock if you want order one, they could come up with a price to charge you. Love my car just wish they could be a little more custumer focused. These are things that drive me crazy. Which setup do you think they posted the horse power numbers on before we all bought Crying or Very sad .

I think one has to be aware where there buggy has come from.
From my experience after buying three Joyner's.

My dealer gets them directly through Thunderinc where they are mostly assembled, tested, and shipped out almost ready to ride. In other words they have Joyner's stamp of approval.

Many buggies that end up at auctions or other places don't go through Thunder even though they have the name Joyner on them don't meet there specs in every way or have defects and Thunderinc has rejected them.

We all know that China seems to just ship whatever they want over here and its up to the dealer to make sure it meets our quality approval.

If your buggy is being drop shipped from China buyer beware!

If the buggy doesnt go through Thunder then how would we know if it did or did not meet their "standard"?

Having been to the Thunder location, I can say the way they handle customers was enough for me to walk out.

Good question, you probably can't unless you know what your looking for and do a thorough inspection.

Using a reputable authorized Joyner dealer and not a fly by night used car lot that just got a good deal on a dozen buggies in stock.

I think Thunder would rather have there dealers handle sales then deal with the public them self.

If thats the case then they should advertise in magazines and have such a big showroom crawling with salesman.

I bought from a dealer in El Paseo. The buggy was assembled and delivered directly to me from ThunderInc. I talked to the guys at ThunderInc while the buggy was being built it.

Wow!!! Shocked

Bummer, I wonder if you paid the same as the one with that cool header set up...I hope he didn't get a better deal than you Twisted Evil

Thats one of the things I do not like about Thunder (or car dealers) I hate bartering for something. I did not like that when I went to Mexico...just tell me what it cost and I will buy it or I won't ...I hate when they keep lowering the price as I am leaving Confused

It just leave a bad tast in your mouth when that killer deal you got is not so killer after all, and all your friends got better deals

just an observation...

Chris
