Hey all!
Well I am continuing to look around for more buggies to gert the whole family outfitted. Once my extra truck sells I will have $$ in hand.....
I planned/hoped to build one for myself, but I found a pair of buggies locally. They are both Kasea units, used being sold by private party. I am nervous about buying an "offshore" cart because I know some of the Mfg are problematic at BEST for parts. how is Kasea? These are our 1st buggies, we are just entering the market and are very $$ limited, so this deal is really good for use financially. Long term I know my nature will have me building a big cart for myself, but I am looking to get the family started 1st so we can enjoy them together. The kids already have a starter cart. Pictures of the units I found are attached, I have neen offered the pair for $1900, so needless to say it seems like a steal. I know the 2 seater has Rev, I think both are 150cc. Current owners did not put too many hours on them and never had a problem.
Another concern is I am 6'4" and wonderign about how I will fit in them. Any thoughts??

If you buy them both for 1900, you could always sell if you were not happy, and at that price I'd like to think that getting 1900 back out of them wouldn't be a problem, Have you seen ,heard, drove them I mean there are no obvious concerns right. _________________ Turbo Turtle(for the little man)

I have not seen them or hearc them in person yet. I do not have funds in hand, so it would be a "wasted" trip and I do not want to bother the sellers if I cannot purchase them, that just does not seem fair.
But I figured since I have some time before my rig sells, now was a good time to ping you guys on this board...
I heard a shop a hour or two north of here has parts for these buggies, that was a big relief.
I found out the yellow one is only 125cc. so sounds like it will fit with my want for a rig to tinker with and drop a 150 or bigger in there if I like the buggy long term.
Or like someone said, I could always sell off one to fund a homebuilt or bigger cart.
THANKS FOLKS!! Anyone else have opinions to share please keep them coming!!
The Kesea kart's are sold at FamilyGoKarts.com, when I was shopping, I stayed on their web page staring at the 250 Adventure Blazer, for hours in front of this monitor, eyes all glazed over dreaming of the fun ,then I got to thunking (which in hind sight think was a mistake) bigger motor shaft drive, anyway I did not go with the Kesea, I love the kart I have, just think I would of been happier going with Familygokarts.com , If you needed parts or tech nohow I'd like to think they would help you out, Ive had several phone conversation with them, I think his name was Jeff, and to be honest , they are propably one of the best companies I didn't buy a kart from. I mean ever time I had a question they made sure to answer them in a timely fashion, Now here I am again the blazer or the sand devil I really like the look of the Kesea. decisions , only time will tell. _________________ Turbo Turtle(for the little man)

The yellow is 125c single seater which her husband say I would probably not fit in (bummer as I wanted that for me the most)
The 2 seater I would be OK in, but she said it smokes a bit and has since they bought it used, but that it runs great otherwise. :-/ rings maybe?? how involved is that on one of these? just scuff cyls with a hone and new rings, or would it need new piston/boring??
Just 35 bucks for a new set of rings, and about 20 bucks for a gasket set. Thats it. _________________ Custom Buggy http://www.buggynews.com/topic13417.html

I to have often wondered how easy it would be to convert the 125 to A 150. Might be better just to swap a complete 150 in. My single seater 125 which is very similar to the one in teh photo does pretty well as it is though. I'm 5'10 and fit pretty good. If it's not to far to go you can always "try it on"! _________________ 05 Jehm Adventure Buggy 250cc, Torque Spring, 22.5gr Rollers, Modified Roll Cage, K&N, 21x7x10 & 22x11x10 Trac Star Radials, Vapor, Body Panels, 40T Spkt
