Wow! Two adults traveling at that speed going off a jump that high! I'm impressed with the structural integrity of that buggy. Is the CV busted or did the suspension flex so much it flew out?

I would have had to change my Astronaut Underwear after that event!!!

Glad everyone is ok...

I was also very impressed with what little damage it did. I have been doing some metal work this week but I can't decide weather to out it back to it's original shape or just extend the back rack and leave the bend this way ^. Its not bad and gives it a bull dog stance. either way I have to pull out the gas tank and I am going to reenforce the welds with "cups" over the existing welds. I ordered the shaft and batery cover today, should be here wed or thurs. Lord willing it will be up and running by saturday and I will send pics of the place I jumped.... Not me airborne over it but pics none the less.

OH, bye the way, the combined weight of my wife and I would not exceed 250 lbs.

Glad to hear you and your wife are alright.... it's stories like this that keep my tires on the ground(when possible).

As far as the radiator....can you braze it? Or if it is in one of the coils you could try cutting out the line and fold it over and then solder the ends. I'm not familiar with these coolers, but that is what we did on old farm tractor engines. Good luck either way.

Actually.... I used jb weld. Although I should be ordering a new one Monday or Tuesday. It holds well enough but I don't want to push or jar it too much till I get the new one. Then ITS ON!! Twisted Evil but no more "over the top" stuff. to much time and energy to fix it.
