I'm not sure I'm going to be the one who organizes this years meet, but we need to get this thing moving along and I'm willing to help out when and where I can.
We need to compile two lists for this years meet.
(1) When and Where
(a) We need a list of what places are available and when they are available.
(b) Include Facility Name, Physical Address, Contact Name, Phone Number, EMail, Web Address and Availability Dates.
(2) Who
(a) We need a list of people that may be interested in attending.
(b) Include Name, Number of People Attending, and Number of Buggies.
(c) Include Lodging Preference (camping, hotel/motel, etc..)
So, if you think you're going post it here.
If you think you know of a place that would like to host this year bash, post it here.
Thanks in advance,

- contact Tom [ Kidinme] search BN member list for pm. sponsered last years northeast rally. 1st class guy, He has insight and experience. His knowledge base will help you to succeed! I also, at this point, would like to give you mucho kudos for taking on this venture. I can apreciate the time and effort it will take to make this event happen _________________ 3206 yerf. too many mods to list. easier to list what has not been modified- seats and steering wheel. plus one set of kidinme's hand made special collectors edition fuzzy dice. We support pole dancing.
There are some places here in NJ that may be an option I will check those out and see if they are interested in the idea of having buggies at their facility.
Tom (kidnme) does have a bit of information that will help he did a great job getting last years meet together. I am not sure that Rausch creek will be an option this summer but he will know better. I believe he said they were not able to do it there this time.
If it is possible to have a NE buggy meet I feel it would be something I need to attend.

http://www.emrpaintball.com/ paintpall park that's open to ATVs on the weekends. Free camping etc.
I sent these guys an email with a link to this page to see if they have an interest in hosting an annual event and their answer sounded promising. The gentleman that responded had the usual insurance concerns and sent me his phone number to call him. I'll give him a call and see what else I could find out.
they have 122 acres space for vendors, bunkhouses and campsites, and open fields and trails. I plan on making a trip up there to check it out when the snow melts.
I plan on attending wherever it might be held 2 persons and 1 buggy, however I cannot attend if it is held in August. _________________ SUNL SLGK-250-2A

It is very important to set the dates before we get to far in to this as it may be a factor that determines where we can have the event. Would it be better to have it in June, July or August? September is obviously too late due to school. Unless it is on a weekend. Lets get as many preferred dates as possible. I would like to also mention, I do not want this to interfere with the Annual buggy bash at Paddy's bluff. So please do not include the dates for that bash in the requests. _________________ Randy

I will be going-Josh B
It would be me(Josh)
And at the most 2 more people.
Karts would be a Dark side 150
And my Electric kart.
I would camp on site.
And I vote end of July/beginning of August
I know a guy in upper NJ that has 200 acres of land and has full insurance and things, I will talk to him, and see if there is a possibility if you want me too. There is a big feild, and LOTS of trails and things. _________________ NE Gang member
I agree... The limiting factors will be (1) The Annual Buggy Bash, (2) Facility/Location Availability, and (3) School Schedule(s).
As far as I can tell last years meet was August 18th, 19th and 20th. I'd like to keep it in this same time frame, but I know there are those that can't make it the entire month of August.
The Annual Bash is in late June so a late July or August timeframe seems to work (at least on paper).
This is the Northeast, so school doesn't typically start until the last week of August or until after Labor Day. I know some sports start before school is in session. My daughter's swim team starts practice two weeks before school starts.
Sometime in August seems to be the best time for us as a group.
We have to find out what places are available and when they are open to have us.... Then we can toss those dates out to the membership and pick one.
That's why I want to get this scheduled as soon as possible, as I too will have to deal with scheduling conflicts.
I'm always travelling on business especially if nothing is scheduled. It seems like someone is always trying to get me to do something.
We'll keep it moving forward....

Just me with one buggy if it is tent camping only.
If a hotel is in the picture, or if I can fire up our '78 Dodge RV in time, my wife and daughter may attend also. Daughter won't be starting school yet by September, so the date will not matter to me.
Since it seems like I'm farther north than most of you (VT), I don't know of any good centralized spots to recommend. I wouldn't want to travel too far into southwest PA for example. The farther north and east, the better for me. _________________ 2005 Sunl Explorer II 150cc
I too, would also like to attend. I may not stay over but if its close enough I just may make the trip each day. It will most likely be me and my carter talon (or some buggy). Anytime in Late July, anytime in June or mid/late August would be fine for me. Lets not forget that this doesn't only have to happen once a year, we could do some single day weekend trips as well. If I can help in anyway, somebody drop me a line. _________________ N.E. "GANG" MEMBER...
