lol...as it stands, I do believe we dont have more than 4 trucks/trailers going!!! lol... so I dont this it'll be a prob as of yet! If we need a meeting place, callEMR and ask if there are any resturaunts or local joints to chill!! I am sure they have favorite places to go after a long day or early morning!
My plan is to just put my buggy in the back of the truck. I've never trailered mine.
I don't care were we meet. I just thought the gas station would be a central location.
Like I said in the original post, if we need more room than they have at the station, then we'll just move it....

We got the brunt of it where I live, I believe almost the whole 12 inched predicted!!! I am gonna have to dig the trailer out!!! oh well. I know It is gonna be a pain, but it is worth it for a fun day in the trails!
Thanks for all the leg work you've done up till now. I had a question for anyone that can help me out here. Do I need a permit or need to register this thing to ride at EMR? I have a title and all for the buggy, should I bring it?
P.S. The form that is posted is for minors, or for all? I didnt know if that is the same for all riders, or if it is just the minor release form. I printed and signed anyway, but I am not a minor, and I am not bringing any, so...is this still necessary?
To the best of my knowledge everyone has to sign a waiver. I'm doing the same thing. I'll fill it out, sign it, and bring it along. If it's the wrong form I can just fill out a new one when I get there. The only minor that I know of that's going on the scout trip is mine (ACBlind). We've already got it filled out. I'll have it notarized on Monday.
We got right at a foot (12") of snow. My buggy lives at work so I don't have to worry about digging it out. Sometimes I wish I had it here at home. Work is an hour away so I can't just ride it on a whim. Really doesn't matter though, I got busted by a neighbor two weeks ago for riding it on the street, so I can't ride it on the roads again for a while at least.
During ACBlind's winter break he rode my cart all around in the snow. We noticed that the Mud Lite's don't do too well in the snow. They like to dig in too much. I thought about turning them around but he was having fun anyway.
I'll be bringing a couple of Kodak Digital camera's that also do some small QuickTime video. I'll also be bringing a video camera. The Kodak Camera's have a non-standard mount on them so they don't work with my tripod. The Video Recorder should work just find with it.
I'll also be bringing some cheap hand tools and a battery charger/battery jumper/air compressor combo. I should be able to keep those on the rack in the back of my buggy.
I'll have a cooler with some non-alcoholic drinks (water, sports drinks, tea) as well as some snacks (fruit, chips, etc..). ORK mentioned that there's some places not too far away that we can eat at if we choose to go get something to eat.
Depending on what truck I bring I may be able to fit everyone in it if we do decide to go off-site to get something to eat.
I just looked at the 10-Day forcast for weather in New Milford, PA. It's not looking good. Right now they are forecasting a 40% chance of showers with temperatures in the mid-50's.
Sunday's forecast is Sunny and almost 60. I'll be keeping a close eye on the weather all week. I don't mind riding in the rain. I've got some gear I can wear to help minimize the water. I guess I could also put ACBlind's top on my buggy. But, I'm not sure I want to ride in the water all day. And I'm not sure I want to drive for 7 total hours just to ride in the rain.
Blue doesn't get back from vacation until Wednesday. I'll let everyone know as soon as I know. I'll try to talk to him then. I've got meetings all day Wednesday so I may not be able to talk to him, but I'll try.
Man, I'm getting psyched about the trip, but the weather is kind of downer. Well, it is that time of year...
Let's keep our fingers crossed...

I am psyched too!!! I hope and pray for no rain. If it rains, I would be totally screwed! I'd need to make a bubble around the kart!!! lol... I hate getting wet and cold if I can avoid it! Should it rain, is Sunday a possible rain date? Is EMR open for Sunday riding? I know it would probably be muddy, but I would rather have mud on me, than be drenched head to toe in water when it is 50 or less out!!!
If you need anything, let me know! I got a small air pump, guage, tool kit, gas, cooler, starter fluid, towels, rain gear if needed, green slime, and anything else you can think of!!!! Expect the best, prepare for the worst...right???

Im pretty sure theres a HUGE dirt and gravel feild right by it from a restaraunt that burned down, could park there.
I dont mean to foil your plans, just pointing out the town from my memory. _________________ '04 Manco 906c
That's cool. We appreciate your help.
Hey, I just found out your the same age as my daughter.
When do you start driving? Do you have to wait for a while after you're 16?

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!
Riding in the rain is no big deal, just put your bathing suit on and wear sandals/water shoes. I don't know about power on-site, but I can load up my 3000 watt generator in the back of my explorer (its nice to be able to use 110), and I can bring a compressor if needbe. I will also be bringing my Sony DVC camcorder and xtra tapes. I will be bringing two fuel jugs (a total of 5 gallons) so if sombody needed to bum fuel thats ok. If there is anything else that is needed, drop me a line. Oh, I will also be bringing a tubeless tire patch/plug kit that has everything needed including xtra valves, it may even have xtra stuff for tubed tires I will have to look. I'll also bring a small assortment of metric hardware, just in case. I could bring my portable mig welder and some stock steel but I thinks thats pushing it just for a scouting trip. _________________ N.E. "GANG" MEMBER...
