I too am trying to figure out my summer schedule.
Does anyone have an idea of when the NE meet will be?
With the BN taking place in late June (22-24), I'd like to figure out which one I'm going to attend. I may not be able to attend both.
I'm trying to set things up so that my son and possibly my nephew can come with me. We'd each bring our own buggies (one in the pickup bed and two on a trailer).
The BN meet is a 1200 mile trip each way.
Four (4) days of travel, $400 in fuel, $100 in tolls.
Being able to attend, PRICELESS.
A New England meet in PA will be easier to get approval from She Who Must Be Obeyed. _________________ Chris Dierkens

I have been working on a NE meet but am in the middle of a bunch of other stuff at the moment.
Bruce at Rausch is going to be pretty busy this year but we're still working together to get something worked out.
I'm also looking at other areas that may be a little more "comfortable" this time around.
If someone wants to find a place to hold it, I'll help out with what we learned last year but I can't guarantee I can pull one off this year. _________________ -Tom-

The one at Paddys will be alot bigger. If you had to pick one to go to, that would be the one. That is where you will meet alot of us buggynews members.
Besides, if you go to Paddys, you get some of Jabos famous BBQ ribs. _________________ Custom Buggy http://www.buggynews.com/topic13417.html

I agree Jabo, Paddys would be much bigger!
It would be nice to have one in the NE for those who really cant drive 1200 miles though but I can't do one this year.
I hope to be able to make it to Paddys myself and that alone puts a big kabash on it for me.
We need to have several, all across the country if we really want this sport to grow! I love these buggies but if I can only go to Western KY to be at a rally, it cuts alot of us out of the "party"!
Lets try not to shoot down other efforts across the country. Its a big place, we're all headed in the same direction and we all want to be involved! _________________ -Tom-

Growing up in Kansas City, MO I don't see how I could pass up some ribs.
I'm going to do everything I can to make it to the BN Bash at Paddys.
I wonder what I could buy the wife to butter her up?
Maybe a new buggy for her
I don't think that would be a good idea right now. At this rate I'm averaging a buggy purchase every other month since October.
The Chicago Bears are on... Gotta get back to the game.
I've also gotta work on mods for my son's buggy.
That's for another thread.
Thanks for the info...
