Wow! Fantastic looking buggies! The sound is really great, too. From your review it sounds like Joyner has another world-beater here.

PS--moved the review to the large buggy section

These buggies Rock! I was very excited to pick these up and try them out. They exceeded my expectations on the amount of power they have and this is only during break in. Rolling Eyes
First mod has to be a short throw shifter and then a Turbo. Twisted Evil

Glade - Thanks. Hey, how soon in the year do the St. Anthony dunes become rideable? I have to see your store on our first trip up.

They open up the first of April but there will probably still be snow on the north face.

Do they make a short throw shifter? If not how are you going to make one? I need one also.

Joyner does not have a short throw shifter yet. I asked when we picked up the buggies. I will have to take off the cover and see if any automotive shifter could be modified. I have a few laying around from Drag racing...

I picked up my 1100 last week. I didn't get the fancy paint job, just the gun metal gray, hammertone powder coat. It looks fabulous. I spent the weekend fab'ing new ramps so I can load it on my trailer.

Please let me know when or if you come up with an answer to the shifter. Thanks.

Holy crap! I didn't know those had that kind of power. Sounds like you actually up-shifted at the bottom of that hill. They really have the torque to pull the front wheel up?!? Wow! One sweet ride.

Yup, I actually started about 3 car lengths from the base of the hill and did upshift into 2nd and then let it cruise up the hill. Very Happy

Those look awesome, I'm saving up to get one. Very Happy

If you take them to the dunes, let us know how they do in the sand especially hill climbs.
