I bought a Roketa gk-06. I really like the way it's built, BUT, a little sluggish. I think they forgot to take into account the big 25" tires. It doesn't help that I push 265 lbs myself. Just put the 32mm w/ accelerator pump, uni and 15 gm sliders from awsomebuggy.com., much better. It sounds great. Now, if I could only get it run for more than 5 min. when it's in gear. I think it may need a new CDI right out of the crate. I ordered that from awsomebuggy also, had same problem stock parts so why not, but they sent the gy6 CDI. Any of you gurus have any suggestions on troublshooting CDI? Anyway, I love the forum. To the rest of you newbies (can I call 'em that if I am one? read the threads on this site. Great info and I think some great folks. [/url] _________________ gk-06 250cc, uni, 32mm carb w/acc. pump, 17gr. sliders
Any chance it's running out of fuel? Might be an obstruction in the fuel flow. Cdi usually works or not I think. I have seen them quit in cars when they get hot and work when they cool off, but it seems like you would need more than 5 mins for that to happen. Did you have the problem before you switched carbs? If the carb is jetted to low it might be quitting when the choke shuts off and the mixture leans out?? _________________ 05 Jehm Adventure Buggy 250cc, Torque Spring, 22.5gr Rollers, Modified Roll Cage, K&N, 21x7x10 & 22x11x10 Trac Star Radials, Vapor, Body Panels, 40T Spkt

I agree... check the fuel filter. It may be installed backwards or clogged.
Also check the tank, petcock or fuel valve (whichever it has) as we've seen those loaded with crap out of the factory as well.
Do you have a weight on this? I think these are overbuilt for a 250... the MOTOUS.com version of this was over 800lbs if I remember correctly. Unless they corrected something in this version I believe it is a lot heavier than stated online. Grab 2 scales and weight front/rear and you will be within 10 lbs of accurate if you add up the readings. The shear weight of the unit could be your main issue.

Yes fuel was my first thought too. I neglected to explain that it ran for 30min. when cold then started stalling every 5 min. However now it won't run for 30 with the 32mm carb. im thinking about replacing fuel line and filter with larger dia. stuff. I still need to check the jetting but reading the plug(at night with flashlight, probably not to accurate) it seemed to be get good mix. Can you adjust the float level in thes little beaut's? That may help too. I do believe it's a "not enough fuel problem" though. _________________ gk-06 250cc, uni, 32mm carb w/acc. pump, 17gr. sliders

Fixed it! Fuel valve was just to small. Removed it, tapped the tank to fit gool ol' american plumbing and vuola. She runs till ya turn her off now. A little tunning the jets then nothing but fun in the dirt. Till I can talk my wife into putting 650-900 snowmobile plant in it _________________ gk-06 250cc, uni, 32mm carb w/acc. pump, 17gr. sliders
