Newbie Question: I am shopping for a 250cc buggy. I found a local reseller of ATV/buggies who claims to have a Runmaster Raptor and he claims its made by Kinroad. I could not find a serial number or identification tag on the cart that said Kinroad or Runmaster. It has Raptor stickers but that is all. He claims that he is no longer selling carts and this is his last one. How can I verify this is an actual Kinroad/Runmaster and not a knockoff with Raptor decals?

Shoot runmaster an email or call them and I'm sure you will get your info.

You can PM them here as well... handle is RUNMASTER

Kinroad does make a Raptor. If you move the drivers side seat ahead there should be a serial number on the rear crossmember.

Below is a picture of the Raptor.

If you need any more help feel free to ask.

Thanks for all the help. I just got back from looking at it and the VIN number on this cart is behind the passenger seat but does start with an LBX. From what I have been told, Kinroad carts begin with LBX. I was going to buy it but the dealer did not accept checks or credit cards, cash only. I will have to make another trip this weekend.

I am fairly certian this cart is legit but the decals have 250 underneath the Raptor lettering instead of above the Raptor lettering. I assume this cart may be last years model because the dealer said he has had it for a long time. The other thing that leaves a little doubt is the location of the VIN, behind the passenger seat instead of the driver seat.

Thanks Again!

How much is this dealer asking for the kart?

He is asking 1700 plus tax. That is with a 3 month parts and labor warranty.

He must not want to make money to bad if he's not willing to take credit cards. Not taking checks I can understand but credit cards?

The dealer might not accept credit cards for this sale because he has the price set so low. The stores get charged a percentage from the card company when a card is used.
