I know,I know, the buggy is safer. But my son really wants a quad for Christmas. Namely, the 50cc baja motorsports quad at Pep-boys. I dont know how good those are but I would think it isnt trail capable. He is only 5 so I dont want to put him on something he cant handle. He likes Buggys to but I can tell he really wants a quad more. I want him to be able to ride the trails I ride in my buggy so we can go on family outings. I have a Dazon 90 or Blade 50 in mind for a Buggy if we decide to go that route. What do you guys think is the best kids quad out there that will fit my boy? The more growing room the better but not to big. Any replys appreciated. _________________ CarterTalon/Uni/128jet/Swisscheesemuffler/KosoVariator/9grammers/Custom Urban/Artic Camo Paint job and droopy fenders.
I don't know what the best is and I am not a pro on atv's but I bought my 3 year old daughter a 50cc kazuma from raceway atv which has a very good reputation they offer 6 months on the warranty and its been 5 months never had a problem and she takes it with me on some pretty rough trails my only suggestion is no matter what you purchase I would reccomend wheel spacers my daughter rolled hers 2 complete rolls turning a sharp turn put 3 inch wheel spacers on it hasn't rolled it since
I just looked at that site and showed my son that particular ATV. He likes! Have you ever had any issues getting parts? _________________ CarterTalon/Uni/128jet/Swisscheesemuffler/KosoVariator/9grammers/Custom Urban/Artic Camo Paint job and droopy fenders.
I have dealt with Raceway for parts on our quads. They are one of the best when it comes to chinese quads. You won't be dissapointed buying from them. _________________ 06' Baja Dune 150: Dr. Pulley Variator, MRP 10g Sliders, 1500 rpm Spring, Blade Racing CDI & coil, Eastside pipe, UNI filter, 130 main, 38 pilot, Blade HP Cam, Blade mini tach, Heculiner floor & undercoating, DS650 Front Shocks, Banshee Rear Shocks
In my mind there really isn't a choice. How would you feel if the little guy got injured due to not having a roll cage?
You can get hurt on anything, but the changes are so much greater on the ATV

You won't have any problems getting parts from Raceway ATV.
I get parts there all the time. I also get parts from Kazumausa.com
I even get SUNL parts from these 2 places that I can't even get from SUNL.
About the only negative on the Kazuma 50 Meerkat, is that it doesn't
have any front suspension. If your boy is 5, then you could probably
get him a mini 90, which has front suspension and would give him a little room to grow.

or the mini Falcon 90

Both of these have the throttle limiter so you can limit speed.
The mini 90 is what I have in mind. It can be governed down to 5 miles per hour. I know its a safety issue but he could get hurt just the same in a buggy. I am still considering a buggy, and I have between now and Christmas to ponder all of this. My wife actually likes the 90 too because she thinks he will grow into it. I will talk to my boy more and try and persuade him to go with the buggy, but I think the quad will be safe at low speeds until he gets better at driving if thats what he really wants....so spoiled. _________________ CarterTalon/Uni/128jet/Swisscheesemuffler/KosoVariator/9grammers/Custom Urban/Artic Camo Paint job and droopy fenders.
