I paid 2300.00 for my 150, but service and reliablety gas not been an issue. if I was going to buy another atv it would be a 250 or 300 from kymco. ther 250 is a racing - utility model that looks awesome _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

I know,I know, the buggy is safer. But my son really wants a quad for Christmas. Namely, the 50cc baja motorsports quad at Pep-boys.
Personally I would avoid any of the quads at PepBoys.
PepBoys doesn't support them and passes everything off to Baja Sports. Baja Sports is hit or miss on getting parts.
my carter dealer will have a mini talon with reverse the secound week in september. its supposed to be 90cc, stay away from the pep boys and other places. get something from a dealer. that way you can get parts, warranty work done _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

why not look into the polaris predator or sportsmen 90? very nice. you could get em in 50's if you wanted. and because its polaris, it will surpass your buggy by far! well keep up i should say

Whatever you buy in a little quad....avoid the SUNL's...particularly on EBAY.
Apparently they are still breaking frames (which SUNL has known about for over a year).

I am a nut when it come to speed.I done 256mph in a A fuel dragster,190 on a Busa,But I would never let my grandson on a Quad.My step grandson's girlfriend was in the hospital for 4 month because of a quad.I have a 500cc racing quad but I wont even ride it with my grandson around .I put 5 point top fuel belts in my Blade and he love it.The quads scare me for my grandson and I will not let him have one.Just my toughts. Santa brought my son a Yerf Dog when he was 5 - I know Santa could/should have done much better - but hey, now I know how to weld! Anyway, prior to that he told me he really wanted a mini-bike for Chistmas. I rode motorcycles for nearly all my life (sold the bike two weeks ago and bought the HH 250 - a decision I do not regret). I know first hand how dangerous a bike can be - thats why Santa brought the Yerf Dog:
As you can see below, he was very disappointed he didn't get a mini-bike.
I knew he really wanted to the mini-bike, but I did what I thought was best and safer for him. For the first year or so, he couldn't drive witout me in the passenger seat - we had a great time. Yes occasionally I'd have to correct his stearing but because I was sitting right next to him I could coach him on his driving. And of course I got a turn to drive too. I ... err I mean Santa even made pedal extenders - see my photo album.
Fast foward almost 3 years - he drives the wheels off of the Yerf Dog! And now the fun has doubled as he and I go tearing around chasing each other.
Speaking from experience, my suggestion is to go with the buggy.
