Anyone from the Quad City area? Gimme a holler. agrovator2112@hotmail.com and post here. We got ya some kickin places to ride and lookin for more. Actually, we may have the most freedom anyone can imagine.
I'm here west of Chicago in Naperville...looking for places to ride! Anyone got suggestions? I have a few friends with farm land, but looking for more ideas.
I'm right here in the QCA. Shoot me a note. I don't know if I'll get out again this year, but would love to hear where you ride. I hear there's a decent place in Aledo, but have never been.

Get out again this year? We cant wait for the snow! Drag out the sleds and snowboards and a tow rope! River ice riding will be fun too. Dang the cold weather, but we just cant stop ridin!
Alright, alright. I know when I'm being called out. I'll get out again this year.
I do need to adjust the valves on the Talon. Also, I just ordered the dial-a-jet and I want to get that installed to see how that affects my carb performance.
Thanks for the note. Honestly, I thought I was alone as far as buggiers go around here. I'm very seriously considering the Buggy Bash in 2007. From here, it's about 8 hours, which isn't too bad.

Ok, I'm back with you now...I got lost on my own post there for a while. I'm looking forward to the snow here too! There's a chain of lakes north of here close to Wisconsin that snowmobilers seem to enjoy...Not sure how cut out I am for it yet!
So at least there's 3 of us out here in IL now. I'm sure we'll see more soon. It sounds like western IL is THE place to be. When the weather improves, a trek west might be in order. _________________ Kinroad Raptor 150, MRP Exhaust, UNI redneck, 135 jet, HP CDI, 10g sliders, 1500 spring, Iridium plug, 4 lights, 12ah batt.

Here a link to a three county atv trail in southern wisconsin that allows gokarts/mini buggies. A $8 sticker and your set for the year. Allot of it follows an old railroad bed but there are some challenging areas.

You know, I've emailed them (DNR) asking about that. I never got a response. Do you know if they allow 2 seater, 54" wide on the trails? I've read other posts which talk about trails in WI (Iron County?) that won't allow anything over 48". Since I didn't get a response back yet from anyone, I wasn't ready to make the drive and chance it.
Do you have any updated info? I have been to the website and looked at the rules, but don't see anything about width.
Thanks for the tip! _________________ Kinroad Raptor 150, MRP Exhaust, UNI redneck, 135 jet, HP CDI, 10g sliders, 1500 spring, Iridium plug, 4 lights, 12ah batt.

I am in guys give me a couple weeks I will have new kart and me and the boy will travel to ride with others. I didnt figure there was anyone around to ride. Where is the buggy bash this year, We are definitely in for that one. Let it snow!
Wisconsin dosn't allow gokarts on it's atv trail, DNR classifies an ATV as something you straddle, but these three counties are allowing them.
My kart is 54" wide and I've run these trails and nobody said anything and like you said there's nothing in the rules about wdith restrictions.
I'd be leary about running a loud pipe though, the trails inner connect through small towns and you run down the streets on marked routes. Its a funny feeling waving at the local police while driving down the street
