Anybody want to go to the Cliffs today? Possibly (but not probably) the Badlands? _________________ Kinroad Raptor 150, MRP Exhaust, UNI redneck, 135 jet, HP CDI, 10g sliders, 1500 spring, Iridium plug, 4 lights, 12ah batt.

I would like to see if we can get together all of the buggy enthusiasts in the area and form a new chapter of the MBRA
I noticed your postings about Illinois and Iowa but don't forget about Wisconsin or Indiana maybe it's time we all got together and join forces then the politicians would take notice. I recently started a thread on a Wisconsin ATV forum regarding their rules and regulations check it out at

I'm currently negotiating with a private landowner on opening up a really cool place for us to all ride and camp out so we can have regular club get-togethers it is in McHenry County Illinois. when I have all the details worked out you will be the first to know but this is going to be really cool if I can put it together let's all cross our fingers and hope this works out. One of the keys to success though is going to be participation if the landowner sees a good turnout and a family-friendly group of people then this could be something good for everybody involved. You can send me a PM if this is something that interests you so that I can begin to build a list and don't forget to check out the link to the ATV Association in Wisconsin and perhaps post your own opinions.

Tigger,
I used to live in McHenry County, IL. I too own a Y'Dog (as does my son, ACBlind). Get in touch with FunnyMan. He's from Illinois and, well he's funny so you can't go wrong with that. He's also handy with a welder. Seeing as you own a Y'Dog you'll need one.
Have fun. _________________ Chris Dierkens

Its a bit further than the Cliffs for me, I am down in Peoria. I saw a guy in a Kinroad on Sunday at the cliffs - first time I've seen another cart out there. It was a great day BTW. _________________ Titan II

I'd like to try that. Are you talking about the three counties in southwest WI? I can't remember which ones. _________________ Ron

Hey supersoxy yes I'm pretty sure that's what he's talking about I just hope funnyman can get his buggy fixed soon I wanted to go riding this past weekend but I had to work on Saturday, anyway I would like to try to get together with you guys for a ride up in Wisconsin there is a couple hundred miles of trails so were going to have to talk and figure out a route anybody want to volunteer on being travel director?
I want to update you guys yes I have secured permission to ride at the place in McHenry County if you PM me I will give you details about what is required to be able to ride there and some more information about the place. I went there two weeks ago with funnyman and had a great time. Don't bother asking him questions about where it is he is sworn to secrecy about its location. By agreement with the private landowner due to insurance reasons primarily it is for MBRA members only this means you have to sign up if you want to ride there but if you ask him if he had a good time he will tell you it was a lot of fun. I might go this weekend to this new place not sure if it's going to be Sunday or Saturday depends on work if I had someone to ride with that would be even better anyone interested should pm me.
Eggyhead you or anybody else that went riding with funnyman have any pictures or video from this weekend? let me know if you do and as long as they conform to our rules on their Use in Electronic and Print Media Websites, Newsletters, Advertising ETC. I will post them on the North Central Buggy Association website for you. Sure wish I could have gone with you
Hey SimonMason, that was me at the Cliffs on Sunday. You were there with your son, right? Only the second time out this year for me! It was muddy and a lot of ruts, but lots of fun. Somebody get something going here so I am motivated to go out and beat my buggy some more before it's too cold. _________________ Kinroad Raptor 150, MRP Exhaust, UNI redneck, 135 jet, HP CDI, 10g sliders, 1500 spring, Iridium plug, 4 lights, 12ah batt.
