You mean I had front suspension. I thought it was welded solid, at least if felt like it. I will be investion in roll cage padding soon. ( and a new rear tire too ).

A thanks to all that helped get the Talon ready for the night drags. I would have spent more than the 30 minutes it took to do the job, just trying to get the stubborn cluch bell nut off. Thats what this sport is all about, riding, wrenching and just plain fun. from the looks of the post we all had plenty of all three.

Great job Tom on setting it up. Maybe a dealer or 2 will show up next year. A few parts could have been sold that weekend, don't you think. I know at least a few of us had some issues. What was the totals: 1 K.I.A. and 5 wounded or was it 6 wounded. Lost count. Broke or not we all left smiling.
Until next year.

Ray

A dealer would of help'd. And they would of brought demo buggies! to bad there wasnt a dealer there with a 800 demo, then i could do the track faster than before Razz

Coriplast is a bone cement. Are you sure you want that??

Coriplast may be a bone cement but coroplast is plastic cardboard used often in the sign business. That is probably what he is refferring to. Laughing

djfriz, you are correct, after 4 prosthetic elbow replacements, that word caught my attention also. It is the bone cement that they injected into the hole they drilled then pushed the elbow in. They all failed, I'm elbowless for good now, sorta like Braless.
Ok Tom, what's the secret weapon your planning by using this stuff...... Twisted Evil watch him, he has something up his sleeve.
Guy48065, Charlie's Yerf defintely was a performer, it was one of the top contenders. My Granddaughter weighs 90lbs so that was my secert weapon even with a 550lb Talon.(it worked, she kicked some butt).
John(blister), your absolutely right, Charlie is a great guy and it made my 2 days right beside him was a total blast....& now add his partner Jay to the mix, you just had to be there.LMAO.

I think the fuzzy dice is the hot tip for ya! Even if you can't outrun them, the bling alone will wow them into submission. Laughing Laughing

Well just in case everyone is wondering the vw motor is definately blown. So I am working on finding a replacement. If anyone has one or knows where I can find one let me know. I would love to have a showdown with Mud trucker. But that will just have to wait for now. I want to thank Tom for getting this event off the ground. SO glad I came. GREAT PEOPLE! Had a really good time. I look forward to the next meet.Still haven't had time yet to look at either buggy but I will try to post some pics of the vw motor when I get it apart.
