Hey Tom,
I think Ryan said you are scared. We will have to see next year.
Ryan,
Maybe it was common sence that took over his right foot. ( or fear )

OK I want a rematch next year. This time without the oil in the clutch during the rally run.
Carter said the rally racing was funner than fun. I think he laughed and yelled more playing around on Sunday even when we blew the tire on the downhill pass around Tom and his son. I will check the buggy out sometime this week. I'm just a little sore and the wife wants some time without the new baby in her arms.
I could not ask for a better wife, to stay home alone with a newborn for 4 days while her husband and son go off 3 states away and play in the woods on a buggy. Maybe we can get her to the next one.

I hope you can bring them both! You're gonna need another Kart anyways now so why don't you modify the one you have first? A baby rattle shifter, Graco Playseat (with washable cover), little baby goggles and drewl resistant sholder harness! You can turn the cargo rack into a changing table and hook a bottle warmer to the manifold! You'd probably have to work out a "thumb throttle" or something but I think it could work! Oh ya, make sure you put plenty of crib bumpers all around because if she takes after the ol' man...........
If anyone could do it, I'm betting on you buddy! _________________ -Tom-

You are a great guy and I am glad that the people that did not get to attend the Paddy's Rally got to meet you in PA. I'm sure it wouldn't have been the same without you there. I look very forward to seeing you at the next annual rally. By the way, as I recall, a Yerf at Paddy's also surprised a bunch of people when it climbed 400 Hill with two passengers.

Tom,
I told the wife that we needed a second buggy for her and my daughter. She said it would have to be pink. I told here she could have the Talon painted and Carter and I will get a Roketta 800. I thought it was a good deal. She thought otherwise.

LOL!
I'm already working on ideas to make me feel better about flat footing it down "Flintstone slide" like you did! Got to get rid of some weight in the front and most definatly gotta figure out a better front shock system. The rear was great but the fronts felt like they were going to rattle apart! (actually, it did! ). I was really cooking on the open/flat parts but the rock slides took their toll! My wife and oldest were showing up late Saturday and I didn't want them show up to see a trailered buggy and nothing to do for the sake of bragging rights even though my competitive side is still aching!
I'm thinking of cutting out some of the floorpan and replacing it with bolt on Plexiglass or coriplast and I might even totally redo the front A-arms and struts! The next one won't be so rocky! It was fun but going fast is better! I think I'm still vibrating from the ride! _________________ -Tom-

Ya, I think ya reached just a little too far!
Go with the Pink Carter and a new 250! The way you made your 150 fly, I'd like to see what you'd do with a 250! _________________ -Tom-

You mean I had front suspension. I thought it was welded solid, at least if felt like it. I will be investion in roll cage padding soon. ( and a new rear tire too ).
A thanks to all that helped get the Talon ready for the night drags. I would have spent more than the 30 minutes it took to do the job, just trying to get the stubborn cluch bell nut off. Thats what this sport is all about, riding, wrenching and just plain fun. from the looks of the post we all had plenty of all three.
Great job Tom on setting it up. Maybe a dealer or 2 will show up next year. A few parts could have been sold that weekend, don't you think. I know at least a few of us had some issues. What was the totals: 1 K.I.A. and 5 wounded or was it 6 wounded. Lost count. Broke or not we all left smiling.
Until next year.
