Awesome pictures!!!! I have more pictures and some video that I will be loading today. Hopefully the audio will work so everyone can hear the VW scream!! Sure wish I got a video of him ripping on the gravel road. It's my first time loading pictures.....so if I don't figure it out...Whiplash will when he gets home.
I learned sooo much this weekend and already Whiplash and I are discussing ways to make my 150 a speed demon for next year. (Thanks for all the pointers and parts!!) I'm sure when he takes mine apart there's going to be tons of ash from our "doughnut expedition". I still can't figure out how djfriz's wife got covered and I didn't!! I was laughing so hard..I was crying.
Even though the VW buggy broke down Saturday afternoon, Whiplash took me on a ride for a lifetime right before it happened. I think we were airborne more than actually riding on the ground!! Too bad Whiplash didn't get a video of me taking a nasty nosedive over a jump with my Twister. Guess I should have taken his advice and checked it out at a slower pace. My spine is quite upset with me at the moment! Live and learn and then get back on and ride!!
Heather was awesome on her ride!! That's so awesome how the whole family is involved! My kids will be at the rally in a few years.
OK-time for some pics and video!!!

Whiplash's Girl [quote]Heather was awesome on her ride!! That's so awesome how the whole family is involved! My kids will be at the rally in a few years.
Well you got to see my little "Apple of My Eye" (Heather). She can drive a Buggy, but she scare's the hell outta me. You & Djfriz girl really had a ball, love it when the gal's can get it on like you two did. Still can't fiqure how you stayed so clean & she looked like a little coal miner. Don't worry, your hubbie will get that 150 screaming real soon, then you can drag race against all the guy's , and also get his awsome VW back on the trail's. When he climbed that hill my wife looked over at me & just said WOW!. I want to thank you 2 girl's again for keeping an eye on Heather while I took my wife across the Rally Course.(she enjoyed it). I should of parked up there somewhere like we did in the 60's( )lol _________________ Jim,......

Can't wait for the video. Really interested to see the SUNL running if you have some of that. Looks like it is moving up that hill pretty good. _________________

Ya,
I got a little "parking" time in with Lady KidNme when she finally got there Saturday night!
Buggy's don't lend themselves to much else!
I'm still "beaming" over this weekend! It was such a great time, my wife even wants to do it again! (the rally thing that is ) _________________ -Tom-

The SunL did really good. As a matter of fact, I was really impressed with ALL of the so called "lesser" buggies!
From what I've read on here. I expected a bunch of broken SunL's, Yerfs and Mancos but most of the major breakdowns came from the higher end buggies! Go figure! _________________ -Tom-

I have some of the SUNL and others that I'm trying to upload, but I'm having some difficulty. I'll figure it out sometime today....or tonight. Any pointers from anyone??

I agree with Tom,.....once DJfriz got his little gremlin fiqured out, the SunL ran & climbed like a goat.(my Son liked the Room in the Sun-L) . Charlie's Yerf would be the spoiler of the day, you had to watch, if you blinked he had you beat( ran awsome )
Ryan's Manco made it over the nasty stuff on the Rally course and come with only a little gaurd bent(good job Ryan).
Fireman1's Talon 150 could defintely had the potential kick your butt, he has some great Mod's on there.
Mudtruckers 800cc Rocket > ran as smooth as silk(great performer)) Sorry Guy's, Heather's pick if I would buy it for her.
Im4seven's little 125cc had my mouth hanging open when he walked right that hill.....his 250 did the same same.
Mudpup's stock Hammerhead climbed what everybody
else did.(Stock go fiqure))>>and my Wife really enjoyed the ride he took her on and loved his Buggy)
And of course Heather's Talon run's well(enough said) _________________ Jim,......

DJFriz took me for a ride in his SUNL and I was impressed, very nice buggy. Stable and nice low end torque considering the frame size and weight. _________________ Name: Brian
