WoW! what a great time, and definitely was some of the coolest people around. We had a ball, Me, Heather(Granddaughter), my wife Deb, & my Son Jim & his wife Deb. Heather was amazed by all the other types of Buggies and how they all performed. I think I created a little Drag Racer,(extremely comptitive). Heather thought that was the coolest / best part of the whole Bash, (and gee wiz, watch beting against her, you might get a big big surprise). Everyone should make one off these, whether a smaller version or the Biggie at Paddy's, the educaation and idea's that shared is just awsome. Tom did a wonderfull job putting al this together, and when I looked around, I feel each & everyone there had a ball. The food was excellent, and really put a final touch to a geat day of Rally Racing, Fun Riding, and just setting around talking Mod's. Here are a few Pic's ,..enjoy.(I'll load more tomorrow at work) Charlie & Jay out of the great St of NC was our neighbor's at the Bash. Great Guy's......... caught Jay napping in the chair after their long trip up. One of Tom climbing the hill that gave a few some headache's .
hah, sweet pics jim! was nice meeting you. btw your granddaughter knows how to drive that talon! knows how to avoid a collison rather well to! _________________ '04 Manco 906c

Glad we met. I too had a blast. My son is already talking about next year. Hope to see you next year. You missed me going out with a BANG. 2:30 Sunday on an outside pass around Tom and a full sidewall blowout. Knocked my son's goggles clean off his helmet. Damn it was fun. I will do a damage check sometime this week and tally up the bill for the fun.

Ray, you definitely left me & my wife with some memorable moments, you play hard(pedal to the metal). Heather really did enjoy racing you, what a competitive litte girl she is. Your Son had a whole bunch a fun there playing with Tom's Son, he went non-stop with no lack of energy. I'm definitely going with smaller rear tire's if she ever race's again. Who know's, next year she might hit that little red button on her steering wheel & Wammmie > shot of N.O.S . These Buggies confuse me at time's, like when you first got there you pointed your Talon up that hill and up that hill you went(twice)> no problem. After that you definitely had something change in your Talon with that hill giving you that much trouble>> I think (clutch, clutch, clutch). Well, get your damage report done, hope it doesn't cost you to much. I have all your neat Mod's stuck in my head, most I will do on her Talon. Thx.......

I was really impressed with all the karts there!
Jim, That Carter really flies! Of course, Heather has a lead foot!
I found that these karts are directly preportioned to the size of your "You know whats"!
I just couldn't push my Twister like some of you guys were doing!
There definatly seemedo be a "No Fear" atmosphere!
Gotta do something about my suspension!
Maybe a spring rubber in the front will do the trick!
Got the guys doing my driveway bringing a bobcat and for a few bucks, he's going to build me a test track on the side of my property!!!!
Finally, some fresh video from KidNme! _________________ -Tom-

Tom, I agree with the size thingy .....all that I've learned on BN concerning Mod's & how-to's, it all work's well together. I was monitoring Heather like I was the crew chief at nascar, but when Heather ran 38mph @ 8330 rpm's down the hill onto the flat's, that went against all my belief's on 8GR Slider's. She must of had enough RPM's to swing them out far enough to get that (little bit more) higher gear. What my Son noticed the most was, when climbing the hill on the road it slowed 23mph & never changed speed from there on, just held there. He was impressed, especially with him in there with Heather. I have no idea what particular mod make's the Talon run great, pick 1 of many and you could be right. I no one thing though, if Heather would of lost to many Race's, she would of had my BUTT _________________ Jim,......

Jim, As light as she is, if your looking for more speed why not try heavier rollers/sliders. At this time she's not doing the big hills so she doesn't need LOT'S of low end torque. The 125's running 10 or 11 gram rollers in it and kept up with her w/ a 180lb rider. Might save a little wear and tear on the engine as well. Highest rpm I saw in the 125 down hill was about 6200, and 7900 in the 250.
