Just would like to introduce myself . I am from central Iowa , I am married with 2 kids. My son is soon to be 9 years old and my daughter is 11 years old. I have been riding motorcycles on and off road for the past 26 years . My wife rides on road and my two kids have been riding offroad dirt bikes since they have been 3 years old.
Anyway is that enough introduction to bore you ?
Here is the scoop , my kids just dug and old Manco two seater single drive yard kart out of the barn the other day . I picked it up somewhere for a song and it had been in the barn the past 5 years. They got it running and trying to ride it around the yard but we live in rural Iowa so, the yard is hilly and just doesn't work.
Well, they think they would like a two seater offroad buggy . About 4 years ago we bought a new YerfDog two seater from Sam's club with the torque Converter , 6 hp tecumseh , blah , blah blah. You know the red one I am talking about. Well, being honest with you guys, I thought it was a total dog and if Dad doesn't really like it . It usually moves down the road.
So, my intentions are to research a good two seater offroad buggy with enough power to climb hills, spin itself around and have a family machine as well. For instance If mom or pops wants to go for a ride with one of the kids or also let the kids ride it together WITH supervision .
Thanks for listing to this rambling,
Raz
BTW: Of course like everyone else, I want my best bang for the $ .
BTWW: I would be interested in possibly doing some riding with some other riders from Iowa . Or looking at what they think it the best buggy for this part of the country.
Welcome to BuggyNews. You will definitely find what you are looking for here. Do some searches. Check out the Review section. Sounds like you are in the market for a dual seater 150 or 250cc buggy. Possibly a Twister, Blade, Joyner and many others. There are some to stay away from (SUNL) so do some reasearch on what works for you. _________________
