I just got off the phone with Judy at the echovalley campground! She says the rate is $10 per night per person for the pavillion. The Pavillion has water and electric so that is a + that you would normally have to pay extra for. If you have a family coming that is more than 2 people then you would want to get a regular primative campsite for $20 per night for 2 adults and 2 children.
If anyone wants to save a few bucks and have water and electric there for your use than lets make a list of all interested. We need to have a minimum of 30 people to make it worth their while. If the majority of you want to stay at individual campsites I completely understand my family is staying in a 2 bedroom camper there at Echovalley campground.
How many are planning on camping (not at the rally site)??

for those with familys, who need more acomodations than offered on site. We are planning to camp at rally site. If anyone wants to chain their buggys to my trailer, to avoid nightly packing up hassles and security issues, you are welcome. This might help to get a large enough group at echovalley

I think I might stay at Echo valley. I can put up my 10'X10" Ez-up at the rally course and leave it there and just man it for a couple hours for registration on Fri and Sat, and use it as a meeting spot for events.
Maybe we ought to see if we have 30 people who are camping and just rent the Pavilion. I'd like to all be together if we can or atleast be close enough to get together after dark.

This is part of the email I received from Judy, sounds nice!
I sometime let the whole area go to a group of four-wheelers, etc. at a nominal charge. I do this for $10 per night per person.
In this area, you can set your tents along the creek and use the pavilions with the electric for brewing coffee, etc. The water is available at the entrance to the pavilions. I can cater a meal to you there from the restaurant, should you choose to do this.
I will need a minimum of 30 people in this area to offer this.
here is a map of the campground I circles the area that the pavillions are.

OK, I have the buggy pic I need for the T-Shirts! I'll wait till the Rally to unveil them!
Thanks for the input guys and although I didn't use your drawings for the T-Shirts, I have something else in mind for those so any other drawings you want to post, I'll use!
I think I have to stay at the Rally Course. With all the stuff going on there, I need to be nearby. I will be renting a room at the comfort Inn Saturday night for a shower and all, but will be camping at the course.
I'm still working on the pig roast. Judy at Echo valley mentioned they could cater something there but we'd have to have most people stay there for that to work. Having it at the course at the end of the day would be better. Saturday night, just after we have to come in, we'll all get together for the pig roast and pictures!
By the way, I have 2 deep cycle marine batteries and a nice boom box. Anyone know how I can hook the 2 up for some music at the rally?? I don't have a generator but those batteries ought to work great!
I'm also working on scheduled events. As I don't want to be chained to my tent for 3 days, I think a timed Rally race around the course, a drag race and a game of some sort (Like capture the flag around the course in our buggies with water balloons!) will be enough structure but still leave enough time for me to ride as well.
Maybe we can set up "Game/race stations" that can be self manned if someone challenges someone else . Kind of like a putt-putt golf course!
I can post a sign at each challenge with a sign in sheet that you can put your time on for others to try to beat. Any suggestions on that are welcome too!

You can link the two deep cycle batteries together and then hook them up to a power inverter and walah......you have 120 volt power.

Nice! Thanks Blister!
About how much is a power inverter?
Can you give me specifics on the wiring? It not only would be nice for the rally but I could find plenty of uses elsewhere as well!
Positive to positive or positive to negative to hook them up together?
What guage wire or is there a "Kit" I can buy?
Thanks for any info on this.

I would think posititive to positive so you keep it at 12v. Power invertors relatively cheap. Price goes up as power output goes up.
