Great video Randy! Makes me want to go back!
After watching both our videos, I think we may have been cutting off some of the course. Following the map, it seems theres another loop, North we may have missed. I will definatly have to mark the whole course then get a video of the ride. Need to make about 100 signs! Shocked
During Rally races, we will have to be sure that others who aren't racing but are on the trails, yield to traffic. We also have to be sure that we are all going the same direction! (With the exception of the main straightaway and any side trails.) We can mark off a quarter mile on that straight for drag racing!! Smile I bet we could even mark out an oval on that road as well seeing as though it's so wide!

You had to see the look my Ganddaughter gave me when Randy pulled away from us & then we came to a 4 way intersection Confused Young Randy has a lot of gut's holding that camera while in his dad's 800cc Roketa breaking the speed barrier.
Ok now for the Medical update>> Tom>( the oil leak)..Tony>(serious black smoke), I thought Tony was going to surprise us & say he upgraded to a Diesel Engine. Hope both you guy's have luck & get them both fixed up.
Hey, let's do it again...........................

Jim, I didn't have an oil leak! (Whew!) Tony sprayed a TON of oil on my UNI for me after that dust storm. Lesson learned there.......Keep you UNI oiled, just maybe not so much!! Smile My engine was sucking it in and blowing it back out the air tube laying on top of my cvt. I cleaned her off and went down to the river and back yesterday and its seems to be fine!!
My oil level was good.
How are you making out TONY????? Did you figure out yet where the oil was coming from?

Tom, all great idea's,...... the next scouting/put it all together trip(GPS, Map's, Post sign's, etc, etc, etc trip), should give you a pretty good idea of the whole layout/plan's. Now that we have the go-ahead from Bruce/Insurance Co., do you need his permission to have another scouting trip or do we just showup)???

Now about this 1/4 mile drag.....I know I can beat your Twister 250 with my Granddaughter's Talon 150,(no problem) >>> but, just one stipulation, you must first go through the (FLY ASH PIT) & fill your carb up Twisted Evil .

Smile
I have to let him know when we're coming so they can let the owners know we'll be there. I don't want to put the signs up too early as people do sneak in there and I don't want to take the chance that some knuckleheads will tear them down, turn them around or something! Smile
I do want to get back there though and atleast spraypaint some markers and get an accurate map of the course as we will want to run it. We have several options with all the loops! I also want to get a better look at campsite options for those who will stay on-site. I'm not sure we can all camp in one large area but I'd like us all to be atleast on the same road if at all possable.

OK,
Just heard from Bruce and we're all set. I'm sorry it took so long! Smile

The pricing will be $100 for the 3 day weekend per buggy or $35 per day if you can't make all 3 days.
Bruce told me theres a really nice campground nearby that could accomodate us all and are used to guys with trailers! Smile
He says they have a seperate area we could probably use. I'll call them this weekend and see what they can do for us.
For those of you who would like to camp, it would be much nicer but I'll leave it to the majority rule thing.

Let's get DIRTY!!! Smile

Great news!

Ryan there is a long service road inside the facility that we can leave our trailers over night.

Tom.. I don't know wether it was you cell or mine that lost the signal! What is left to take care of? Are you planning to go back up prior to the rally to prep the course and label the route? Is there any thing that any of us can do to lighten the load?

I will talk to the campground and see if we can party/camp/gather there. If not, we can stay at the rally course. The campground would be nicer I think though.
As far as help goes,

#1) I will need a hand marking trails when the time comes. I'll have the materials soon.
#2) I need a cartoon style pic of a buggy for the T-shirts (I'm thinking like the old hotrod with the guy's head sticking out of the top kind of thing!, I need this ASAP!)
#3)I think because of the "newness " of this area for what we're using it for will lend itself to alot of wrong way traffic if we all just head out to ride, I'd like to have as many "organized" events to fill up saturday to keep everyone busy plus a seperate area for those who don't like games and such and just want to ride Laughing
Of course we want to race the track but it will be hot and I was thinking something with a water balloon, that sort of thing. I need some good ideas! I have some and I think it will take another trip up there to really do it right but those of you who scouted with me may have spotted something that would lend itself to adding some fun to getting around the track.
#4) I want to hand out a map of the trail with a schedule. The schedule is the hard part. Let's get a list of "events" people want to be involved in.
Wanna Drag?? Think you can drive 'sdrawkcab" and spell at the same time??
Not many hill climb areas that I saw but maybe someone else saw something.
#5) I'm a scatter brain so, any ideas, suggestions etc are welcome! I wanna do, whatever you guys wanna do! If I can make it happen in 4 weeks, I'll do it!Smile
