Ask and yeh shall receive!!!!

Blade in conjunction with Axis and Our beloved JABO, have been working hard to deign custom shocks for the karting/mini Buggy scene. With the team at Works performance Shocks, we have developed some very nice High end shocks!!! for the 150cc karts, Nitrogen filled dual rate shocks with a passenger rating of up to 350lbs, to handle 2 passengers. We have tried more weight and we are still very happy with the performance.

For the 250cc class, the situation gets a bit more coplicated as the designs vary so largly, curently we have shocks for our Blade 250XT which JABO and I have both tested at the Rally and I must tell you... WOW.. Night and day... you will be very hard pressed to get me to ever get me to go stock again. The 250 shocks are triple rate and you feel like you are riding on a cloud without any comprimise to the handling!!! the landings are beyond precise. We will keep you posted on the progress of the various brands, and will soon post the dimensions of the current 250cc shocks so you can see if they match up to your current kart.....

Are you going to offer these at a discount with a new Blade buggy purchase as an upgrade?

I just looked at the other thread and these are some impressive changes you are making to the 250. These shocks with the performance upgrade would be awesome.

Those are pretty sweet, but at $850 a set, no offense but I believe I'll pass .

Well, they are real shocks.... the real deal. In order to get serious with these things we have to move into a certain direction, and this is one of those directions.

The other option is to try to find some aftermarket shocks that will fit... While this is do-able in some of the 250s out there it can be hit or miss sort of thing until you find something that works the way you would expect it to.

In my mind, these are purpose built shocks... for OUR purpose... finally.

Good going Stu.

I appreciate the work involved for researching these shocks, but I agree they could be priced better. I like where these are going. Thanks for taking the time to build these!
