One of the most powerful features of a forum such as this is that much of what you may be looking for can be found by using the seach function.
Play with the command a little but and practice finding topics using the different modifiyers such as "show results as posts" to help find the best results the quickest. If you happen to know the author's name of the post your are looking for, you can inlude that in the appropriate field to narrow the results down even more.
If you have new questions on an existing topic it often makes sense to reply to the old thread on the same topic in order to remind us of everything that may have been discussed before. This can help us help you better. It also notifies people that were invovled in the old discussion that the topic is alive again so they can more easily respond to a new question on the matter.
