I'm sorry I ever bought a toy junkies pipe just in holding and handling this thing. I can't believe I paid about the same for each. It's crazy!

Awesome! I am anxious to see your comparisons of the performance of the pipes. (especially the redneck variety!)
Looks great! Did they charge you the original price or the exytra 30 bucks or whatever? |
Sorry.. just saw this...
I got the original price since that is what I was quoted back when I ordered 2 months ago.
East side rocks... even if I had to wait so long. This was worth it.

I've gotta say, hey did an absoltely awesome job of packing this bugger. It was wrapped, packed, padded, insulated, ... you name it. East side does a good job in making sure things get to you in good shape.

hey guys this is my first post. I ride motocross but have recently rode a lot of the Dazon buggys. Raider 150 single, double and raider 175cc water cooled single. They are great fun. I have played around with the jets, pipes, air intake and have found some increase in the mid and top end but have found it difficult to gain a noticeable difference in the low end. I see where Greg at East side motorsports has designed a cam and would like to get it touch with east side. you can email me at rkcenterprises@cox.net with a way to contact east side or a location would help.
Thanks,

The pipe fits my Blade.
Came in billed as a pipe for a 2004 Xterro, so if you order it like this we know it fits the Blade DX. Wasn't easy to get on but I got it!! It's like a puzzel to fish that snake of an exhaust tube through wires, bars, etc.
Best I can tell that tube was bent to allow it to fit where the oil cooler is on some of the buggys these days (twister, talon) This way it clears the oil lines.
The sound is very deep and throaty. Not at all like the Toy Junkies pipe wich is a much higher and sharper tone.
This East Side pipe may have slightly better low end.
I have to get the jetting right... 135 is still a little too rich. If I slam the throttle it hesitates in mid range. I'll try the 130 like toy junkies sent along to me.

spoke with Greg for a good long time last week, he insists that the extra bend is for low end and has nothing to do with the oil cooler or anything but torque. He also told me to jet the kart at 140 so go figure? Any how I will likely be stocking his pipes here at Blade to offer as an option because we are very impressed with the quality, it seems to be right up there with the white bro's . 6 stage too. he says.
so Steve any top end change?
also check my video again that is a white brothers very throaty, sound about the same? we jetted it with a 56 drill bit remember, I think you looked it up and it came in at arond 127? did you try the intake? does it match up the holes?

That drill bit came to about 121.25 I think it was.... wasn't it?
He told me about 135 on the phone... a 130 was sent. I dunno.
I'll cut back to 130. See how that goes. If it get's worse, then I pop up to 140.
VERY throaty. Sounds like a Honda Interceptor 750 did back in the 80's and early 90's. Nice deep throaty sound. Stand back 8 feet behind the buggy and you can really feel the pulses of air... it's crazy.
Mainly seems to be low end torque. Probably a little better than the Toy Junkies pipe. Otherwise seems about the same.
Again, I'm going to have to use the stop watch technique so the beauty of the pipe doesn't sway my decissions.

Steve, did the pipe have the larger headpipe on it?
Sorry to hear you didn't experience a larger gain in power, did you use the stock gasket or no gasket at all?
