Way to go Carter Brothers. KPX is trying to charge users for theirs on the Xterros, but Carter Brothers took the leap and put theirs on line and accessible to everyone.

It pretty much goes over everything, including valve lapping, all clearances, tear down processes, etc., etc.

Oil weights are listed with recommendations, and everything else.

Also shown is the funky universal wrench that is used to hold the fan side of the CVT pulley still while you remove the overtightened nut. Smile

This same wrench is used to hold the starting gear still while removing the crank case nut that I had to make a spanner socket for. They show a special wrench on that nut too.

I did see the official oil drainage plug too. It's right next to the engine serial number underneath the CVT cover. I have been useing the filler hole every time I have changed it from the biginning. Smile

Yes I still have holes in my buggy game!! Smile

BuggyNews will get me there. I just need to keep reading and moding.

I am really impressed. This looks to be the most thorough manual I have ever seen! This will be handy for those of us that are not mechanically inclined like I am. I'm fine if I have instructions, but doing mechanical work without instructions I won't even attempt most of the time.

Good job, Carter! Obviously a lot of work went into making such a manual!

Ahhh... I thought I tried to correct you on that once before. Smile

I do both to get ALL the oil out and check the screen.

Carter will also ship you the "service manual" at no charge, to keep on your workbench.
