If anyone does a search on alibaba.com and searches for buggies, karts gokarts or anything like that they will undoubtedly find an array of buggies. Has anyone searched and found any large displacement 4 stroke engines that are designed for buggies?
Part of the problem is that China has a restriction on large cc engines for such things. They can't use them themselves... There are SOME out there, but since they don't make them for home use in china, they aren't as wide spread. A lot of times the larger CC products they make for export use engines sourced from other places like Taiwan or Korea.
