I had a crude one with a mccullough engine on it, guy i bought it from had a jazzed up one with twin mccullough engines that ran on alcohol, he raced it against similar ones.
they were two cycle engines...they used them on chainsaws too, mccullough always made a line of chain saws but they also made these (at the time) racing Kart engines...all their motors were painted bright yellow--they were screamers
I had a 32cc one in a 41" R/C boat. I'll see if I can find the picture. _________________ Custom Buggy http://www.buggynews.com/topic13417.html

I have a classic kart with a 5hp Honda 1 wheel drive with a band brake by the way does anyone know where to get that band brake shaft?
But im 15 and about 120lbs and 5'5" and this little thing is BADDD ive flipped it 4 times in 3 months. Last week I loosened my governer to wide open and thats the last time i flipped it. I think that classic karts shouldnt be narrowed down to 1 wheel drive the last one I had had a live axel. _________________ >Prescott

By band brake shaft do you mean the actuating rod from the brake pedal? If so, any Asusa parts dealer would have something that will work.
Try Reliable go karts on this site, or search...go kart band brake parts. What make is your kart? _________________ Dazon single seat frame..13 hp Honda clone
