My guess is that truck vs firehydrant... truck wins every time.

Aren't they designed to break away??? I'm sure they are.

Yer right, I see no water, but then again, it was a very quick cut after that.

Who would run a truck into a pole on purpose??? The danger there is very real... pole breakage, downed power lines, etc.

a fire hydrant is a big water shutoff with the valve way underground-- below the frost line. Most of the hit & spray stuff is probably hollywood.

i think heran the truck into the pole by accident because he wasnt driving and those tires tend to have massive bump steer. I know from my brothers truck. it literally has control or where you cruise! but yeah they are made to snap off just in case

the shutoff is 6 ft below the surface but only in the northern us, where we freeze our butts off. in the south they will shoot water out of them if u hit them. (dont ask me how I know) Embarassed

yes it is true i live in the south and they drain the line ever so often and all they have to do is open the hydrant and that guy looks like he put a suspension on his truck so the suspesion was prabably beefier than the hydrant and id like to point out what an idiot tha looked like a nice truck he was prabably gonna get out and just sit on the hood and then he realized het couldent get back in and he was heading for a pole so he just jumped
