Buggy wont start

hey guys i have a joyner 250 and it wont start i think its the battery i am mechanically inclined a little bit so i checked the spark plugs and little things no major problems also when i tired to start it i heard it try to turn over and the lights on the dash went out so its only 4 months old so should i buy a new battery because its junk or buy a battery charger and also y i think its the battery because i rode it 2 weeks ago and it ran good and i noticed the voltage gauge was a little low thanks any suggestions

also i forgot to say do u think it is the engine i got it 4 months ago and rode it 4 or 5 times and start it weekly to let the engine run but i havent changed the oil or anythin or checked the engine so is it the engine itself or battery

change that oil and get a new battery the stockers of both suck Chinese but

go to wally world or a auto parts store they should have a battery about the same size but most are taller then the stock china crap so you need to either get longer bolts for the holder or make a custom one at least i had to with mine you may be fine? but w/e bring your battery with you when you go
