CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET PARTS FOR MY GK-28? WE PURCHASED AROUND LAST CHRISTMAS AND PAID FOR TWO YEAR WARRANTY BUT STILL CANNOT GET PARTS FROM THE DEALER THAT SOLD US THE KART. I NEED A REAR SUSPENSION/SWING ARM BECAUSE IT BROKE AT THE WELD AND THE METAL LOOKS TO THIN TO WELD.
much of the metal looks thin but do you think another stock one would hold up better then your welds id weld it back my self or make a new one out of high quality metal _________________ 06 joyner 250 sand viper, red metallic..blue clutch spring 17 gram sliders
If your warranty was not from Roketa itself, you're probably SOL on getting a free replacement from them, but you can still ask if a replacement swing arm is available.
For the record, I had a similar problem with one of my rear swing arm's weld developing a small crack. Roketa had the part available so I got a replacement to have on hand if it gets worse/breaks altogether.
Thanks. The link does indeed look like my buggy. For what it is worth, we purchased the buggy and extended warranty from ALL NEW SPORTS. The following link pretty much sums up our experience also. http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/299/RipOff0299304.htm

There are 2 models of the GK-28 (GK-28 and GK-28W). The GK-28W has the double swing arm.

I don't want to paint all Roketa dealers with the same brush, but many of them that I have come across/read about are usually Roketa scooter dealers that sell occasional buggies. Ironically, the Roketa dealer application specifically requires you to have a retail operation with the ability to service the vehicles... but whatever.
(edit: well, the application DID state that and I was going to post a link to it, but it seems to be unavailable on their site now!)
They often don't know anything about buggies, or how to service them (or even OFFER a service option!) This is why I was sort of surprised to read about your extended warranty you purchased. What does it cover?
For OEM Roketa parts, I have found it best to simply go through Roketa itself.
Good luck in your search, and baby the buggy in the meantime!
I bought a gk28 from ab power sports (awesomebuggy.com) and they have been decent at obtaining parts for me. You might want to try contacting them. I spoke to the Roketa people initially but was frustrated with the language barrier and hung up.
