I have a 150cc kinroad. The mod's i have made are as follows:
full mrp header and exhaust kit.mrp heavy duty clutch with 1500Ib spring.dr pully variator with 10 gram rollers.I changed from a 112 stock jet to a 137.5 jet. I still have the stock carb.
The thing i am concerned with is the plug still is white in color when i check it.It kind of lost power over the stock set-up,before, it would get up to 7500rpm and now it has trouble making it there. Being that the plug is white when i check it, is it possible that it is still lean with this set-up?

I do not have the stock airbox. It is a mrp air filter. Do you guys really think it can be lean? What jet should i go up to?What are some other symptoms of a lean set-up.Also, with the set-up that i explained previously, what kind of rpm should this thing hit? Shouldn't it be higher than stock?

get it running and spray some carb cleaner around the intake and see if the idle changes. the rubber intakes are bad about cracking around the bolt holes and will cause a leak, maj=king it run lean.

are you useing a new plug evrytime you check it? if using the same plug you could be getting a false reading.

it should hit at least 7800 rpm. when you installed the rollers and main spring how far down the clutch pulley is the belt? it only needs to be no more than 1/8 down in the pulley. if more than that it will act like its in high gear

Start at a 140 and test with a fresh spark plug. If you're too rich you're gonna run rough (bog down) and the spark plug will look charcoal black.

If your plug is really white where you're at now, I'm pretty sure a jump to 140 won't overshoot you to running too rich.
