Hi everybody I have been doing a lot of silient reading and think this is a great site. I am ready to buy my first buggy and would like your expert opion on the best buggy for the money. I want a two seater to haul me and my pack of kids, I wanted one that would due double duty in teaching my kids to ride and still let me ride with them. The main kid is a little girl age 7, we have been riding four wheelers with her driving and us riding. I think it would be best to start her out on a buggy instead of a 4 wheeler. I was also hoping to get her something that she could grow into and be able to drive for several years. So I was wondering about a 150cc, do any of them come with adjustable controls and seats? Also do you get a better deal from the internet haveing it shipped to your house and doing the assembly or buying from a local dealer that has been put together? Thanks for any info you can give.
welcome to buggynews, when you buy a buggy try and buy from a local dealer, that way you can look, sit and test drive it. it also is a good time to look at the dealers showroom and see if they have parts.
if that isnt possible buy a good brand from a good dealer, good brands are joyner, carter, kinroad, blade, hammerhead. in no real order. a 7 year old would be good in a 110 cc, it will give her room to grow.
use the search function to find some of the dealers on here _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

That was a great post I had read it already in a search I was doing. Do all the blades in 110 come with 3 speed or is it a option. Also I would love to take a look at one but when I did a dealer search there were none in my area. I am in Sedalia Mo about in the middle of state. You have a excellent reputaion here and have been very helpful to me is there a chance I could deal with you or do I have to find a local dealer. Where would be a good site to look up one of this 110 blades? One last question I am all ways looking for the best deal I can get is there ever a chance of finding a demo or good used blade 110. Thanks again for all the help.

I did a quick search and couldn't find a Blade dealer closer to you than Indiana.
If you like that particular brand, your best bet may be to have one shipped to you.
In the meantime I would still recommend looking around and 'kicking the tires' on if you can find a local place that sells them, just to get a feel for the sizes for your daughter/seats properly adjustable, etc.
Most all buggies have adjustable seats and seat belts.
I still recommend buying a quality product like Blade, Joyner, Carter, etc, though. Costs a little more, but the long term quality and support makes it worth the while.
the shifter 110 comes as a 3 speed, I forgot about the kinroad automatic. I can email some pictures of one I have on the show room so you can get a better veiw. I will see if there are any other good brands are around you, stelebilly is in IN. up towards indianapolis. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

The pictures would be great, on the blade with the 3 speed is it just low, hi and reverse. Do you have a clutch to deal with or do you just let of the gas and shift? When you say the kinroad has a full time automatic is it like my polaris trailblazer just hit the gas and go? I would not mind the two speed if you do not have to deal with a clutch.
Heres another question I am also looking for a buggy for my self are the shaft drives better than the chain drives? What are the ones called that have the rear axle that looks like a VW?
Are they better than the solid shaft ones? The only ones I have had a chance to look at were the hammerheads at a local dealer.
Thanks for all your help.
