Hello guys,

I am new to these forums first post xD. But i have some problems with a Sahara 150cc buggy. recently i accidentally put 2 - Stroke fuel in since all my cans have 2 stroke written on them. I ran the buggy for around 10 minutes or less on two stroke before i floored it.

then we put straight petrol in my buggy and ran it through then ever since then, whenever you put your foot down it has no power what so ever it only fires half of the time. but half throttle etc. is fine and completely normal. i opened the carby up and found a jet floating around in the float bowl. i put it all back together and cleaned it all. and i still have the same problem. i also find it is running lean at full throttle. the spark plug is slightly white color.

im going to adjust the amount of petrol in the float chamber and blow out the carby again and check for any places were air can leak in between the carby and the engine. is there any other possiblity to consider?

its not my electricla system either.

all help is greatly appreciated. thnx

Sounds like you need a bigger jet, what size was the jet you put back in the carb?

This is a good place to start. Clean your carb carefully and thoroughly, paying close attention to getting the jets clear and unrestricted.

If you're still having problems, you may have to replace your jet.
