today was awesome i went to Gorman Ca i went with 5 others on quads and i was the only 1 with a buggy(Joyner 250) at first i was nervous to hold them back. Then when we started riding i didnt hold them back at all or very little i thought the joyner was too wide for the quad trails but they fit perfect. also every hill the quads climbed i could also at times i felt i could use some power in the deep sand but overall the buggy rocked and run awesome and some of the quad guys said they have been looking for a buggy and liked mine so the trip was awesome and hopefully next time ill have extra power with some mods

With some CVT mods it will make a big difference. Also, take off the stock air box and replace with a K&N or UNI and it will get that motor producing better. Get it to breathe.

These are the simplest and least expensive mods you can do. Then there are other more expensive----performance CDI,Coil, bigger Carb, HiT clutch, Variator. The list can go on and on.......

In your CVT, replace the rollers with 17g sliders and put in a blue Polini torque spring. When you order these items also get 2" UNI filter with cover, some main jets ranging in size from 137.5 to 142.5 and a fresh NGK Iridium spark plug.

And after those simple little mods, may wanna consider new seatbelts and underwear. It'll be a totally different machine.

now would those mods kill my accleration and torque or kill top speed i want improvement in 1 but i dont wanna kill the other 1

12 tooth sprocket in my opinion. Gain good torque and power with minimal top end loss.

yea my goal is as much power as possible with minimal loss on top end or accelration and torque so if thats possible tht would be great

Cvt mods are the most popular upgrade. If you want power everywhere like glade mentioned ditch the air box and put on uni rejet the carb. Lighter weights likely slow down acceleration on a video comparison but definitely gain torque and usually maintain top speed. Gives the machine a better feel. Sprockets can give you torque you wouldn't dream of, you can gain acceleration and torque with a sprocket but likely lose top end. If you go crazy on the sprocket you sacrifice more top end but the torque gain is crazy and all the engines power is very usable. All of these performance parts compliment each other.
