...but this was no ordinary Crossfire.
How about this for a Franken-Buggy: A Crossfire 150 front chassis with a Hammerhead 250 rear suspension arms and a Honda 750 with custom rear frame to tie it all together. I noticed a shifter lever with a hand lever (clutch?) between the seats. Long chain from motor sprocket to large axle sprocket. Nice shocks all around.
I invited the owner to join. Hopefully we'll see him here soon.
One more thing: I spotted him pull up to the base of the 1st hill & went over to ask about the buggy. This was his first attempt at Silver Lake 
I'd say the buggy has the guts to get the job done.
