Look the same and I see so many people on here with them in their signature but the prices are so different. I see Sunl's, roketas, carters, blades, bajas, etc. etc. Is it just a preference like Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, etc. or is there really a difference. I just bought a Carter gsx 150 and paid about 800-1000 more than these other buggies that look just like it. Can someone please fill a newcomer in..........

Usually the higher priced buggies are better built, actually have parts available, customer service, and dealers who will take care of you like the one you purchased from. That is not to say that you can't get a cheaper buggy that runs great or a expensive buggy that has problems. But when problems arise or you get to tinkering on mods it is real nice to have parts and a place that cares.

This is what you are paying for......A dealer that actually cares about you after the sale.

Eric is not one of those people that buys a container of problematic or factory discount machines and unloads them on unsuspecting customers. Too many tiimes you see a buggy at or below the cost a dealer would pay for it. EBAY is notorious. Drop shippers that want your money and then never want any thing to do with you again. NO parts and NO technical support. Consequently, the person that bought that machine at a fraction of cost is stuck with a machine that is a pile.

You may pay a higher initial PRICE when you bought the machine but the overall COST is going to be lower over time because you have a dealer that cares about you. A dealer that ensures that the customer has a positive buying experience is worth a little extra money at the time of the purchase.

Glade

yes that is why us good dealers buy from great buggy manufactures, we have to make a living selling buggy's parts and repairs. we have to have a good brand or we would not be in business very long.

some buggy's look close to each other BUT ARE NOT THE SAME

take carter for example, they make theirs in alabama, they import the ace brand for nothern tool. and family gokarts. but thats is where it ends. the ace brand is the older carters. they are made in china (the poor province ) the metal is not as good, the wall thickness is less, the engines are not sym, everything about the ace is cheaper.

roketa and some sunl buggy's look very close, some coolsiter and roketa are the same. so yes some look close but there is alot of differance. the bottom line is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I have a very well know buggy in my shop for repair. the customer bought it at a box store. the wire harness is run thru the fram rail, we found the harness has alot of bare wires due to that. "he ask me why my products are so high."

"I replied look at mine very close then look at yours, that should answer your question"

yea wat glade and eric r sayin is true yes it is more expensive now but in the long run you save money and stress. For example when i bought my goped i bought a cheaper 1 that looks great and its in my garage broken and it broke down about 5 times already. Then with my buggy i bought a higher quality 1 and it cost more money but not 1 problem yet and i can beat the crap out of it on the trails and it will keep on goin
