So i went out for a ride before work....The trail was a little damp oh well a little mud never hurt anyone...i decided to go a different way then usual as the local construction had filled a big hole that i usually avoided.
It looked a little damp as it rained last 2-3 days. Maybe an inch of mud at the top??@! Boy i was wrong how about 18 inches of mud and still not reach the bottom. Sink up to your knees trying to hook up a rope and pull it out. Our other machine didnt have enough traction to pull it out (stock tires). After much effort we decided to go home and grab the jeep to give er a yank...we got it out but MAN was it ever stuck.

When the floor board is resting on the mud and the wheels are dangling into the abyss of mud you are STUCK!
Click to enlarge the pictures to see the full mess we where in.
The last pic was taken on my phone so its not quite as good a picture or as large.
Cut testing day a little short.

The chain was well into the mud picking up all kind of rocks and junk, I had to scoop out the muck and gravel after i finally got out because the junk was causing havoc on my chain and sprocket.

Notice how my floor board is now supporting the buggy weight and not the wheels?

Holy crap Steeda Shocked Must be nice to have your exhaust that high up. That's about the same size of bog I got stuck in the other day, when I had to abandon my buggy and walk out.

Lucky for me though, it was really wet mud, not even CLOSE to being oatmeal thick like THAT!!!! I pushed out by hand. Is your buggy still running OK?

Runs fine after I scooped all the rocks out of my chain guard.

Half way through I was thinking oh no maybe this wasn't such a good idea! Lol we broke a thousand pound strength strap trying to pull out with a 4x4 truck before I had to head back for the jeep and a chain! You sunk so fast it was like quick sand!

lol yah I was going about 40 mph when I hit the mud and it didn't help. Seriously though before we stomped all through it it just looked like damp dirt. I didn't see the monster lurking below. Its like the old trick dig a hole and cover it with twigs and leaves. I even asked the construction worker as I laughed.. Did you set some kind of trap here?! Lol

I have found that the bottom of the HH250ss acts like a big suction cup in that kind of stuff. Glad you got her out in one piece.
