Hello all...New to the forum but been lurking for awhile now. Got a few questions regarding my used / new to me '05 Kasea Jehm 250 buggy. I need to know if it is a cn250 motor and what type of carb came on it for that year? Need to know which jets to buy for my specific carb. I did a search but didn't want to read 15 pages of postings (got through bout page Cool. I've already got my pipe on order and intake is in the works just as soon as I score a uni-filter. I've already got an email out to BigE regarding 13g rollers, white torque spring, and a set of red clutch springs>>>>any and all info regarding this buggy is greatly appreciated ....thanks Alex

Kasea and Jehm are two different companies. Jehm used the Linhai 250cc Yamaha derivative engine, but I cannot tell by the literature what engine Kasea used to sell (I cannot find any information about Kasea buggies after 2005). You will need to post pictures of your buggy and engine so we can figure out if other companies used the same design or if it is an albatross with no support left.

No one was able to help find CV joints and half shafts for a Kasea 250 when I posted it. If you want make contact with the owner this buggy, you two may be able make one good buggy with spare parts...

Pghruby....Thanks for the reply...the buggy has a jehm sticker on the front panel but it's registered as a Kasea and the origination paperwork says kasea. Maybe one is the manufacturer and one is a distributor. Guess it wasn't a real popular model because I can't find any info on the carb for this thing. Hopefully it's the same as all the other 250 cc's out there......

The carburetor will be the same or similar to the other buggies, so that will not be a problem. Unless you can identify the engine, you will have a hard time upgrading the CVT or doing any top end work. Get that camera out and start snapping some pictures for us...

I think, MIND YOU, Think that the 250 other then ours that www.familygokarts.com sells is a Kasea (Born That way not labled)

Anyway, for the Carb, yes, the jets should be thesame that we are all using. As far as the CVT- open her up and measure the rollers. The that most use takes 23x18mm rollers. That way you will be sure. Also while it is open, weigh the rollers so you have astarting point to refer too.

Hope this helps abit.

Stu

Sorry for the delay on the piccies...hope this works Here is the motor side and another rear driver's side view These are the before pictures .Just installed a new fmf pipe and redneck air intake willl get pic's up soon. I noticed a little more low and midrange and lost a lil off the top end.Is this normal for those mods . I also changed the jet to I think a 135. Not sure jets weren't marked in the package. Maybe I'm expecting too much but all my toys that have aftermarket intake and exhaust and fuel modifications have always shown a vast improvement....any thoughts ????
