Very simple install with nice results. The pictures are in reverse order i apologize for that. tell me what you think.
Picture1 013.jpg: 1 Time(s) Viewed, 2.48 MB Silicone in the filter/spacer to give the tube structural integrity to mount the long pipe. The spacer will be a loose fit you just need silicone to hold it in place to mount the long hose. |

The parts are simply hammerhead 150 stock components for the cvt and air box. I just cut the cvt part in half sealed it up and should be good.

No problem.
I was pretty excited to share the info when i discovered how simple it would be and still make it look factory. (and inexpensive )

Looks good, did you put anything on the other ends of
the hoses, like a screen or something, or is it open.

I have a filter on the inlet side at the joint. Not the best place for it but I think with the snorkle elevated out of the dirt and grass it should stay clean longer. Still thinking of just mounting a filter on the top but that adds to the cost. Should I?

I would'nt think you need a filter at the top too, that
might make the cvt get hot, you know, too much
filtering might restrict air flow, maybe one of the guys
that snorkled theirs will chime in with results.

Looks real good... Do you plan on monitoring the heat to get a before/after reading?

Hadd no plans but stock it was getting very hot bell was purple within 250 miles or so. Clutch was hot anyways... The tall grass and weeds plugged it up in like 2 rides. I can remove the center filter and mount a mrp one on top I have 2 in stock.
